The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host has a blog that they feature each week!

So, if you’re a blogger, come join in on the fun!

Here’s today’s question –

Book Vacay: Where is the best destination reading spot for you? (Where do you like to go to read other then your home)

I don’t really have a favorite reading spot, but I do end up reading in my car a lot.  Not while I’m driving, but while I’m waiting.  Yep, I do a lot of waiting – that’s what happens when you have kids.  Somehow you end up spending LOTS of your time driving them to different activities and then, often, waiting.

But, it doesn’t seem so bad when I have a book along for the ride.  In fact, sometimes I find myself looking forward to driving my son to his violin lesson twice a week because I know I’ll have 45 minutes to myself in the car, with only my book to keep me company. (Well, sometimes I have my other two kids to keep me company as well, but on those days I make my daughter bring a book and my son bring an electronic device – voila!  More reading time for Mommy!).

  1. Definitely the bus because I think commuting is polluting the planet as well as my sanity. A good books makes all the difference in the latter at least.
