So, if you’re a blogger, come join in on the fun!
Here’s today’s question –
Question of the Week: Are you also a writer and what genre or did you ever consider writing?
I’ve always wanted to write a book, but so far, I haven’t gotten very far toward that goal. When I was in college, I took a short story writing class and after college I even took a novel writing course, but I never got more than a couple of chapters in. I’ve always used the kids as kind of an excuse for why I haven’t gotten to actually writing. This is somewhat valid, but I know that there are plenty of people who write when they have kids – I homeschool, so it makes it that much tougher, but the amazing Allie Juliette Mousseau (who I edit for, and who just released her sixth book the other day) makes it work (albeit with a few difficulties).
Someday I WILL write a book, though! I’ve had ideas percolating for two books that I plan to get onto paper eventually – one is a YA Fantasy and the other one is a MG with fantasy elements. Now I just need to motivate myself enough to write them down!
I’m glad you write! Keep working toward those novels!

Homeschooling must be tough! I bet that does take a lot of time! It’s great that you have ideas though! Keep working at it! New bloglovin’ follower.

Most of the time homeschooling is fun, but it does take up a lot of time. I definitely haven’t given up on writing though – I’m going to do it. Eventually. 🙂
You should totally go forward and write! There are many helpful resources and communities if you need help!
Old follower 😀
You’re definitely right! I think that hooking up with a writing community would really help push me along, so I’ve been thinking about doing just that!
You should definitely keep at it, even if you start by doing a couple hundred words a day eventually you’ll have a full novel! I like to set up a rewards system for myself where if I write a chapter(or some other goal) a day I get to watch an episode of whatever show I am currently marathoning on Netflix, the more I write the more I can watch!
Old bloglovin follower!
That’s a good idea – rewards always work well!
You’ll do itsomeday! Followed you on Bloglovin, Google+, Twitter, and liked FB My FF
Your ideas sound so fun! I hope you do write them someday.
Thanks for visiting my FF.
Following back.

Good luck! You can do it!
Thanks for following. Old Bloglovin’ follower.
Exactly the same for me, someday I hope to be a write!
I also find it pretty hard to find the time to write. It is one of the few things I can’t do while doing something else at the same. If I’m going to write I really want to have the time to sit down and think about how I will phrase surtain things.
Good point. I spend most of my time multi-tasking and you really can’t do that with writing!
Your blog looks so cool. I like the colorful header!
I always found writing difficult, especially those essays in school. Wish you all the best in future! And hope you get to write your books.
Thanks for visiting my blog earlier!
Thanks for the compliment!
Finding time to write is always a challenge. I tend to find myself up at 11 or 12 at night to put some words on the page. I hope you are able to get those books onto paper soon!
Thanks for stopping by my blog!
