Sunday Post & Giveaways Galore 10/12/14

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.

Last week on FYFA:

This week was another really busy week in our household! Very crazy, and I was feeling a bit overwhelmed, so I didn’t even post on Friday or Saturday, which is unusual for me. I spent most of Friday shopping for clothes for my daughter – she had almost no long-sleeved shirts that fit her and was starting to look a little goofy in her too-short shirts. And then I spent most of yesterday taking my son to his orchestra rehearsals (and editing at Starbucks while he was there) and searching for a bow tie for his concert tomorrow – nothing like waiting till the last minute (and bow ties are hard to find – with good reason – bow ties? Really?). I DID manage to get to the Fierce Reads tour on Friday night, though, which was tons of fun. I’ll be giving a recap later this week, so check it out!

Here’s what you may have missed last week:

  • Lailah by Nikki Kelly (review & giveaway) – Still time to enter to win a hardcover copy!
  • Keep Me Safe by Maya Banks (review & giveaway) – Still time to enter to win a paperback copy!

    • I actually still need to read book #2 in Howard’s series before I move on to the third book, but now I’ve been given extra motivation. I really loved the first book!
