I resisted downloading a copy of Never Never this week, because I wanted to wait until the second book is available. Knowing Hoover, I just know that I’m going to be asking for more. 🙂
Yes, I’ve heard that it ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, so you probably made a good choice!
I Purchased Never Never too – and I am not sure how much I am gonna like it, tbh. :/
I loved your post about ARCs – it actually sparked an idea for a post I have been thinking about posting 🙂
ANd thank you for the shout out!
Oh, I hope you do like it! I just assume I’ll like it because – well … Hoover – but who knows? Glad I could spark an idea for a discussion post!! I love when that happens! And you’re very welcome for the shout out – gotta spread the love for my fellow bloggers! 🙂
Thanks for the shoutout! I got Seeker as well. I really want Never Never, I have been seeing it everywhere.
You’re welcome! For the past couple of weeks I didn’t mention specific posts because it felt like playing favorites or something. LOL! After all, I love all of my discussion post participants. But then I thought it makes sense to feature a few each week and get people even more interested in checking them out. So glad you’ve been participating!
Hey, thanks for the link to my discussion, and for hosting the challenge. I’m thinking up my next questions…
You’re very welcome! I’ve really been loving reading everyone’s discussion posts!
I agree, Nicole, the discussion posts have been great for January.

I have both Never Never and Wicked on my TBR list as well. It sure looks like you have lots of great reading ahead of you. Enjoy and have a great week!
Thanks very much! I’m looking forward to both of them!
I think I’m getting into the groove of the new year. It’ll take a bit to get used to classes and all that again though.
Ha! Yes – just when you think you’ve got it all worked out, things change again!
I have Never, Never but waiting till book two releases..call me a coward. Nice haul this week, I hope Seeker works for you, I set it aside for now.
From what I’ve been hearing, I think you’re probably very smart! LOL!
I really liked Never Never & when I found out they hid clues all throughout the book, I fell in love. It’s REALLY hard waiting on the second book, though! I so want to read Wicked, but I’m trying to finish her Lux series right now. I am sooo loving it!
Ooh! I didn’t know about the clues! I’m very intrigued!
Yeppers. They set up a FB page for everyone to discuss their theories, too. Pretty brilliant!
I can’t wait to hear your opinion on why there’s insta-love.
Ha! Glad I could pique your interest!
OOOh nice! I LOVED Wicked! But since it’s JLA, that’s not surprising! LOL! Hope you enjoy your new reads!
Here’s my STS
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower 🙂
I know – JLA is awesome. When I saw her tweet that the book was on sale for $1.99, I decided to snag it!
Huh everyone seems to be getting Seeker off Netgalley but I don’t think it’s really my thing after reading the synopsis. I do hope you enjoy it, Nicole!
Have a lovely week <33
It seemed good to me, but now I’m already seeing some so-so reviews (or at least initial thoughts). Darn! We shall see!
Awesome haul! I’ve been seeing Never Never around quite a lot so it must be pretty good. I hope you enjoy all of your books. 🙂

Pretty much anything Hoover writes gets a lot of attention. 🙂
Good luck with Seeker 😉 I am looking forward to your thoughts on Never Never, I have heard a few mixed things so I plan on waiting for a few more trusted reviews! And I mean, I am kind of excited for your thoughts on Seeker too, but in a “did you hate that as much as I did?” way, so that isn’t nice. Maybe you’ll like it though, there were actually some decent reviews for it. And hey, if you DO like it, you can explain what exactly was going on to me! Hope you enjoy the books, and have a great week 🙂
I saw your update on Goodreads for Seeker that said something like, “Eh, I might as well finish it,” and I thought, Oh, Noooooooo! I have so many good options for ARCs, why did I choose this one?” Oh well. Like you said, maybe I’ll be one of the people who really ends up liking it.
Eeeep. SO MANY GIVEAWAYS TO ENTER. This is fun. XD I downloaded The Problem With Crazy too!! I kind of know the author so I’m excited and nervous to start it. xD
Thanks for stopping by @ Paper Fury!
That’s the hardest thing to do – read a book by an author you have a relationship with. You SO want to like the book, and it’s a little nerve-wracking! Hope you love it!
Good haul this week. I have the Seeker ARC as well. I have heard mixed reviews about it, but I am still excited to read it.
Yeah, I’ve heard mixed things about it too now, and I’m a bit disappointed I picked it up. Sigh.
I have my own theories with regards to insta-love, however different opinions are always welcome, so I’ll check-in later this week to read your thoughts. I’ve been meaning to get back into JLA’s writing, and Wicked is first in line. Hopefully your review will post before I get around to it, so I’ll know what I’m in for.
Yes, well, obviously when I say that I know, it’s a bit of an exaggeration. But I have an idea about why some authors probably write insta-love based on my editing experiences. 🙂
Excited to see what you think of Wicked! Not my favorite JLA, but entertaining nonetheless. 🙂
I was on the fence a little bit about this one, but I saw that JLA posted on Twitter that it was on sale for $1.99 and I figured, “What the heck?” 🙂
I am interested in your thoughts on insta love also!
Ha! Well stay tuned!
Oh I am looking forward to what you think about Wicked and I am going to check out your review for Jackaby. To be honest it’s the cover of Jackaby that has me interested in it for awhile now. Seeker was one I was really interested in and then I started reading the reviews and I am not sure yet if I will pick that one up.
Jackaby’s cover is so intriguing. I didn’t even realize it at first, but the more I looked at it, the more I loved it! I’m honestly not so sure about Seeker anymore either, but I requested it, so I’m reading it – hopefully it will work for me!
I just popped back to your Ten Unread in 2014 post and I just bought Alienated! It was on sale this past weekend and looked interesting. I hope I get a chance to read it soon. I also believe in good web design (my background from the years at HBO.com) and just updated my website again. Always gotta make sure it loads fast and looks good on a mobile phone!
Ooh! I’ll have to go check out the new design! (I never really think about mobile for my blog – I wonder how mine looks … hmmm).
I hope you like Wicked Nicole. I loved it. I think I will get Never Never closer to when the sequel comes out!
Naomi @ Nomi’s Paranormal Palace
Yeah, I’ve heard that Never Never is very interesting – and very strange. I might actually end up holding off on reading it until closer to the next book’s release, but now I have it!
I finally caved and bought Wicked myself a couple weeks ago. I don’t know when I’ll get to it, but at least now I have it. Same with Never Never. I hope we both enjoy them!
This is how I feel too – who knows when I’ll get to them! LOL!
