The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.

Last week on FYFA (and in my life):

  1. Sue G.

Ooh…kids with the flu…I remember those days. Glad my kids are older (two are at college so they are on their own!) and the youngest is old enough to make it to the bathroom instead of her bed! Hopefully he didn’t pass it on to you! Keep warm.

    • Yeah – my kids are old enough to be relatively self-sufficient, but still young enough to come and wake me up to tell me they’ve got a fever (or a sore throat or an earache – he had a lot of things this week!).

  2. I am so curious about what you thought about Just Pru. I reviewed it recently and really liked it. I have to come back here and check it out. I haven’t done any discussions this month, but no pressure. Sorry to hear about your son, I hope he feels better soon, (and no one else in the house gets it). Happy reading!

    • I think I actually enjoyed it more than most people did. Maybe it’s because I went into it expecting to hate it? (I had seen SO many miserable reviews.) I certainly wouldn’t call it a favorite, but I liked it more than I was expecting to!

    • Oh, but see, you have helped me! I had heard of RT at some point in the past, but didn’t remember about it. I’ll have to go check that one out!!

    • Oh my, Carmel!!! Now I am in a total quandary! I just spent the last hour or so reading all about RT and I think I might have to go to that instead of BEA. It sounds AMAZING!!

    • Thanks! I did meet them – I just hate it when everything feels so rushed in the end. Plus, I feel like I missed out on the blogging world this week because I was so crazily busy between work and home.

  3. Ugh, stomach flu. Blergh. There is nothing worse than catching kid puke in a bowl (actually it’s worse when you have to clean it out of sheets.) I hope your little guy is feeling better soon! Thanks again for your review of REMOVED and I hope you enjoy the others when you have the time for them 🙂

    • Ha! Well, I’m sitting on my bed writing this right now because my daughter doesn’t want me to leave the room – her stomach’s been hurting her all day and she has a bit of a fever. No barfing yet, though, so maybe we’ll get lucky? 🙂
