The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.

Last week on FYFA (and in my life):

Well, I am sad to say that I didn’t manage to get a discussion post up this week. I’m trying to give myself a bit of grace – I did build a few “miss” weeks into the discussion challenge for this very reason. After all, we can’t be perfect, right?

This weekend my daughter’s gym is hosting the level four state gymnastics meet and I got myself roped into doing hospitality again. I’ve been pretty much all day every day since Thursday and I’m exhausted. Let me tell you – feeding 100 hungry coaches and judges (plus even more with the volunteers) is hard! And totally stressful. The meet is over today, and we are completely done with competitions until the fall. Thank goodness!!

Anyway, I promise I’ll be around more again this week! Here’s what you may have missed this past week:

Next week on FYFA:

  • Max by C.J. Duggan (review)
  • Walled by Anne Tibbets (review)
  • Let’s Discuss – Something … bookish (I promise, I’ll be discussing something this week!)
Book-Haul

For Review:

Rice Cooker Revenge

Great Discussions/Goings On Around the Blogosphere:

Other Current Giveaways on FYFA:

(Besides the ones listed above)

Lots of good stuff! Have any giveaways or great discussions happening on your site right now? Feel free to share them in the comments!

    • I’m so glad it’s over. This has consumed my life for the past week or so and I’m ready to get back to “regular” life! By the way, I know you’re still waiting on me and I’m sorry. I’m going to email you today!!

    • Walled actually really surprised me – not that it was good (I expected that after reading Carrier), but some of the plot twists I was NOT expecting. 🙂

  1. Sounds like you had a busy week trying to feed all those people! I read Rice Cooker Revenge this week and it was such a fun short story, perfect if you want a short read that will put a smile on your face! I hope you have a great week and it’s less busy than this one!

    • Okay, Shannon, I’m sending them to you! Actually this time there were WAY less volunteers, which actually made it easier on me. Still crazily busy and stressful ( just because feeding 100 people – especially when there’s no exact schedule is just crazy), but I didn’t have to deal with complaining volunteers.
