The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.

Last week on FYFA (and in my life):

Today I’m attending the 5th Annual Novel Cuisine Luncheon, which has been organized by Heidi of YA Bibliophile and Liza Wiemer, author of Hello? (and of WhoRuBlog). I’m really excited to be going—just wish me luck since it’s supposed to snow four inches today! Ugh!

Also, make sure you head over to the November Wrap-Up Round-Up Giveaway, which is being hosted over at Paved with Books!! (Note that you didn’t have to have posted a wrap-up post in order to enter the giveaway—everyone is welcome!)

I’ve had so many BEA books that I’ve avoided Edelweiss for awhile. But this week I decided to take a look and I grabbed a few upcoming releases.

  1. Ooh nice! I wanted to go to that Luncheon myself, but firstly, I knew December in Wisconsin could generally mean snow. And the fact that it’s on a Sunday doesn’t bode well for my traveling. I’d need it on a Saturday to ever consider making that attempt. But snow. Yeesh. I love it, but I loathe driving in it! Especially sooo far! Hope you have (had) fun!

Nice new reads too! Totally new to me ones! Hope you enjoy them all!

And thanks again for the birthday mention!! I’m looking forward to Friday just to be off a day earlier than normal! LOL!

    Here’s my STS

    Have a GREAT day!

  2. Hope the snow held off! We got a ton too and they’re already closing things for Monday! the luncheon sounds fun. and thanks too for the list of reading challenges- I’m finalizing which to do next year so that came in handy. 🙂

  3. Oooh, what is the novel cuisine luncheon? I’m intrigued by the title! We got a dusting of snow this past week, but not much. I’m ready for a big snowstorm. I just like to have one every winter, and last year we got almost no snow. Have a great week, and thanks for stopping by my Sunday Post earlier.

I hope you had a fabulous luncheon and that the snow wasn’t a hazard. My “bubble” name makes an appearance here because I never understood why people freaked out when they got less than 3-4 feet of snow (since we get those sized storms all the time out here). And then I moved to Indiana and visited our family every other weekend in Chicago. Oh. My. Gosh. The snowplowing and snow removal back there is such a huge safety hazard and so beyond scary! I’d never been nervous driving in snow until I moved back there. So what I’m trying to say lol is that I hope you had a safe trip there and back and had a wonderful time at your luncheon! ♥
