February Discussion Challenge Link-Up & Giveaway

Posted February 1, 2017 by Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction in Book Blog Discussion Challenge, Challenges, Giveaways (Ended) / 3 Comments

Welcome to the February monthly link-up for the 2017 Book Blog Discussion Challenge hosted by Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction and Shannon @ It Starts at Midnight!

Hope you’re all doing well and taking care of yourselves. Sometimes, I think bookish stuff is a good form of self-care, which we still need to remember. Hopefully this challenge will give you a fun outlet to do so. ♥♥

The winner of our December discussion challenge link-up was Wendy @ The Falconer’s Library. She chose Worm Loves Worm by J.J. Austrian, which looks super cute!

If you don’t know what this challenge is all about or haven’t signed up yet (but want to), head on over to the challenge sign-up page to learn more! Even if you’d rather not join, we hope you’ll stop by occasionally to check out the MANY discussion posts that are being linked up here – there’s lots of great discussions going on!

We’re no longer giving discussion ideas each month (because not that many people seemed to need them), BUT you can check out our list of the topics we’ve suggested over the past two years if you need some inspiration. There are LOTS of ideas there, and I’m sure you’ll find one you love!

Looking for even more inspiration, or want to see some discussion posts as an example? Check out the discussion posts on Feed Your Fiction Addiction or It Starts at Midnight!

Featured Blogger

This month’s featured blogger is…..

Kaja @ Of Dragons and Hearts!!!

I picked two posts from Kaja’s discussion challenge that I extra enjoyed. It was a hard choice because I love all of her discussions, but these stuck out in my mind as I took a little stroll down memory lane via Kaja’s blog archives 😉

Super Long Books (which, as you may have guessed, is about super long books)

Reading Bad Books (which again, Kaja has titled quite explanatorily)

Okay guys, real talk time: We’re in a bad way right now, and I think this is a good month to support some of the amazing marginalized authors out there. Whether it is an #ownvoices book, or just an awesome book they wrote, I think that every little bit of saying “we stand with you” is important.

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Make sure to link up all of your February discussion posts here. This linky and the February giveaway will be open until March 7th (to give people a little extra time to link up – just in case you’re disorganized like we are). If, by some chance, you forget to link up a post this month, you can add it to next month’s linky (but no duplicates, please).

Go forth and discuss!

  1. Thank you for featuring me this month! It’s just bad luck that I had a real blogging slump and only now posted my first discussion, *sigh*. It’s nice to see people visiting my blog, I really like this new feature! 🙂
