Book Title Tag

I recently found this tag over at Metaphors and Moonlight. and I also saw it at It Starts at Midnight. It looks like this actually originated way back in 2014 on Rachel Reads. (Yep, I actually did a little research here, people! You should be proud.) I thought this was one of the best tags I’ve seen in a long time!

Anyway, I’m finally getting back into the swing of things after vacationing, but my brain is still not up to the task of coming up with a real discussion right now, so this is the next best thing. For my list, I used only books that I’ve actually read… just because. (It helped narrow things down a little.) I linked the pictures to my reviews, except in the one case I haven’t written a review yet (Willow Sparks, which I linked to Goodreads).

Hope you enjoy!

Let’s face it, there are times when life is tough. I’m not gonna lie, mine has been stressful for the past year or so, and there have been times in the past where it felt relatively unbearable. But, in the end, I like to think that I’m a positive person and I always try to hold onto the idea that things will get better and everything will work out in the end. I choose optimism over hopelessness and I count my blessings (there are lots of them).

If I could spend a weekend whiling away the hours reading, I’d be a happy camper. Reading on a secluded mountain somewhere would make it absolutely perfect. (This sounds mean, like I want to avoid my family, but I’d still spend all week with them! And they could be on my secluded mountain with me—as long as they let me read.)

Honestly, the hamster wouldn’t be specifically necessarily (though I’m sure our little buddy Stripe would be happy to come along), but time travel would be an incredible adventure—as long as I didn’t break the world or anything.

I’ve always loved the name Willow. I think this goes back to my obsession with Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Ideally, I would love to be a published author someday. This dream usually feels completely remote and/or impossible. But my actual freelance job as an editor is an amazing second choice, so I’m pretty lucky. I figured this book title goes with both of those professions.  🙂

I mean, that would be cool, would it not? If a building that tall actually existed?

I definitely got lucky in this area. Met my husband in high school and we’ve been together for 25 years!

I actually only had two question-named books on my Read list, but this one works well. I feel like I’m asking myself this all the time. It usually goes something like this… “Hello? Nicole? What were you thinking?”

I mean, if I were ruling it, it would have to be, right? (Um, or maybe not. I guess maybe I would need it to be the best of all possible worlds so that it could survive my completely disorganized style of leadership.)

There were LOTS of titles that seemed like they would work as a band name, but this one jumped out at me for some reason.

That’s it! Feel free to give a few of your answers in the comments. Or, even better, link me up to your own post! Tag, you’re it!

  1. First of all, wow for all the graphics you added to this post. I swear you are so good at managing your time and I am envious of all the stuff that you get done. This post looks amazing!
I saw this tag over at Metaphors and Moonlight. I am impressed that you tracked the original poster done, bravo! I love all your answers especially World that You Want to Rule. Brilliant! I have no idea what I would put for any of these. I might actually do this one because it looks so fun. It would be my first tag post ever on my site.

    • Honestly, I have to give Shannon the credit for the graphics because she did something similar in her post with her Tag titles (only she used cute little birds instead of books) and I thought it was a great idea. I do admit that I spend lots of time on these sorts of little things when I can, though, because I feel like fun graphics add a lot to a post. 🙂

You should definitely do this tag. It was a lot of fun to go through my Goodreads list and find titles that worked and I think the results are pretty entertaining!

  2. Lots of people have been doing this tag. Everyone comes up with such creative answers, but when I look at the questions, my mind goes blank. I’d love to time travel and go to the thousandth floor of a building (as long as the building had a good elevator.)

    • I relied on Goodreads completely for this. I think the only ones I came up with off the top of my head were Lucky in Love and Willow Sparks, the rest I found by looking through my Goodreads Read list to find something that worked. I was pretty surprised with how well a lot of these fit the topics because I was thinking, “How am I going to find that?”

  3. OOoh nice! I have this one on my list of posts I NEED to do! Lol! Liking some of these titles for the prompts too! So perfect! Feel like I might be challenged with some of these! Lol! Will have to find out!

  4. Yay book title tag! Aww, you found such a great title for the first one! And nope, you chose a title with a hamster in it, now you have to bring the hamster with you on your time traveling adventures. You’re right, the thousandth floor of a building would be super cool, that was a really good answer too!

  5. Cool. I loved Buffy the Vampire Slayer too. Although my pick for a name is either Paige (my middle name) or Catherine (I used to watch Young and the Restless).

  6. Jen

“As long as they let me read” LOL! I love it!! I love all of your answers so much, but Girl on The Verge is such an amazing pick. To me I picture a band kinda like Garbage from the 90s for some reason. What a fun tag and I hope I’ll have time to do this one too!

  7. I’ve seen this tag before. I forgot where though. Yes, it’s a great book tag. I was thinking to join in but I ended up forgetting about it due to my busy week. Anyway, I enjoyed reading this. Yes, editor is a pretty awesome job. ?❤️

  8. Aw your answers to this were great! I won’t lie, I am a bit scared of being on The Thousandth Floor? I laughed at Time Travelling with a Hamster, that was such an amazing choice! Pretty nice of you to let your family come along to your secluded reading getaway, too- I’d be ditching everyone, so I am not as nice 😉
