Sunday Post & Giveaways Galore – 3/4/18

Posted March 4, 2018 by Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction in Sunday Post / 59 Comments

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.

This past week on FYFA (and in my life):

I went to see Hamilton last Sunday (a birthday gift from my husband). That is pretty much my only news for this week. I did manage to catch up on a lot of things. Other than that … yep, it was a week.

I’m featured as a guest poster over at Avalinah’s Books this week for her #NewBloggers101 series. Make sure you head over there to read my advice: What Are Linkups All About?

Here’s what you may have missed on the blog this past week:

Next week on FYFA:

  • Obsidio by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff: Review & Giveaway (I said I was going to post this last week, but I realized that was just a placeholder in my calendar—this time it’s real!)
  • A discussion? I feel like I don’t manage these lately!

Book Blogger Birthdays and Blogoversaries:

Birthday-150 Blogoversary-150x150

Here are the birthdays and blogoversaries this week! I hope you’ll go wish these bloggers well on their special days! Make sure you check out the calendar to see what you might have just missed or what’s coming up. (If you want to be added to the calendar, you can always fill out the birthday/blogoversary form.)

Book-Haul

Purchased:

Check out my post on the Anderson’s Children’s Literature Breakfast to see what I got from that. I also picked up a Zenn Diagram ebook because I had a Kindle credit on Amazon from choosing no-rush shipping.

Great Discussions/Goings On Around the Blogosphere:

 Pre-Order Deals:

Listed in order of release date. Any new deals that I just added to the list this week will be denoted with a *** so you can easily find them!

Please note: Almost all pre-order giveaways run “while supplies last,” so I can’t guarantee that they’ll be open until the date listed. Pre-0rder early for your best chance to get all the goodies!

Other Current Giveaways on FYFA:

(Besides the ones listed with this week’s posts)

Even More Awesome Giveaways on Other Sites:

Lots of good stuff! Have any giveaways or great discussions happening on your site right now? Feel free to share them in the comments!

  1. Yay for seeing Hamilton! I went up to Chicago for it last year and LOVED it! I also went a little overboard and bought season tickets to the musical tours here at home because Hamilton will pass through in 2019…(the whole season looks great though, I swear!). And I know I said it on Evelina’s blog, but your guest post was great 🙂 Hope you have a wonderful week Nicole!

I enjoyed Zenn Diagram last year. I remember the plot was fun and the characters were well drawn.

  3. Yay for Hamilton! And so exciting that Obsidio is almost here. Pretty sure I’ll be dropping everything when that comes out. 🙂

I feel the same way about discussions. They seem to go in stages- I’ll have ideas and post a few, and then I go through a drought. Oh well. 🙂

  4. Omg these posts are SO helpful and thorough and I know how much work it takes to do all this gathering of info and linking SO LET ME JUST SAY YOU ARE A FANTASTIC BLOGGING WIZARD. ?? Thank you for all this!

  5. I appreciate all of your hard work every week to put together all of these blog and links and I need to say this, thank you so much for doing this, you’re amazing <3
I can't wait for Obsidio to be released, I'll be looking forward to your review on that one, hope you enjoyed it! 🙂
    I hope you're having a lovely week! x

  6. I love that we both get to see Hamilton for our birthdays (because of course, twinsies!). Was it fabulous!? That is such a thoughtful gift! I am so jealous that you already have Obsidio! I signed up but alas. I feel you with discussions too. I mean, the only thing I can discuss is how I have no idea what to discuss at this point haha. (Wait, are we supposed to be examples, or just hosts? Because I can host like nobody’s business, but if they’re looking to us for inspiration…. oopsie? ?)

    • I know—I used to feel like a great example when it came to discussions and now… not so much. I keep telling myself I’ll get better about it when I’m “less busy” but I’m starting to think that’s a fairy tale idea that won’t ever happen.

  7. ugh sorry I’m so behind visiting you Nicole! last week storm did quite some damage to our property 🙁
I saw you instagram post when you went to see Hamilton. I hope you ha da greta time! Off to check you guest post” What Are Linkups All About?” now 🙂
