Sunday Post: Pre-Order Deals & Giveaways Galore

Posted June 3, 2018 by Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction in Sunday Post / 36 Comments

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.

This past week on FYFA (and in my life):

This week I’ve been working hard on critiques for the writing conference I’m headed out to next week. (We just got seven submissions for critique last week! Still, I kind of love critiquing, so it’s all good.) Speaking of which, I’ll probably be taking a hiatus from the blog from the 8th to the 14th. I want to focus on the conference and not stress about getting posts up. If I get anything up, I’ll consider it a bonus!

Here’s what you may have missed on the blog this past week:

Book Blogger Birthdays and Blogoversaries:

Birthday-150 Blogoversary-150x150

Here are the birthdays and blogoversaries over the next two weeks! (Since I’m not sure if I’ll get my Sunday Post up next week.) I hope you’ll go wish these bloggers well on their special days! Make sure you check out the calendar to see what you might have just missed or what’s coming up. (If you want to be added to the calendar, it’s easy! Just fill out the birthday/blogoversary form.)

Book-Haul

From NetGalley:

I really enjoyed the first few books of Jeff Wheeler’s last series (I need to get the rest—I was listening to the audiobooks, but the library switched to another service that doesn’t have them!), so I thought I’d give his newest book Storm Glass a try.

Won:

I won all three books in the Ghost Diary manga series from Dani @ Perspective of a Writer!! (They’re all in the pic, but you can barely see book two hiding back there.) I’m super excited to read a new manga series, and this one seems perfect for me! Thanks so much, Dani!!

(This is my 8th win of 2018. It’s been awhile, so I guess I’m off my winning streak from the beginning of the year. 🙂 )

Great Discussions/Goings On Around the Blogosphere:

Pre-Order Deals:

Listed in order of release date. Any new deals that I just added to the list this week will be denoted with a *** so you can easily find them!

Please note: Almost all pre-order giveaways run “while supplies last,” so I can’t guarantee that they’ll be open until the date listed. Pre-0rder early for your best chance to get all the goodies!

More Awesome Giveaways:

Lots of good stuff! Have any giveaways or great discussions happening on your site right now? Feel free to share them in the comments!

  1. Ooh nice! Congrats on the win! I’ve lost count of the few contest wins I’ve had this year. 2 for sure with the Discussion Challenge! Lol! Plus another two on twitter and one Goodreads…so that’s 5…yeah, that’s all I got! Lol!! Not too bad then, that’s one a month!

Nice new reads too! Totally new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them!

Have a good time at your conference too!

    • I started counting this year because I was on such a weird winning streak at the beginning of the year—I won the first seven giveaways all in the first three months. I’ve actually won two more, but I don’t count them until I get the books. 🙂

  2. I love that you thought of Karen if someone wins the $500 to a bookstore of their choice, and that would be AMAZING to win. haha

I hope you have a great time at the conference, and I can’t wait to hear all about it.

  3. Good luck with the writing conference! And hope storm Glass turns out to be good- it certainly looks like a good read. Nice cover too.

    Have a nice week Nicole!

  4. Oooh the writing conference is so soon now, wow is it just me or did that time seem to fly by? Anyway, I hope it is fabulous, and good for you for taking a break, it’s well deserved! You seriously have some insanely good luck, I would like for you perhaps to share? 😀

  5. Thanks for informing us about these pre-order deals and giveaways! It’s really a great opportunity to grab them and have freebies after our generous purchase. As a huge fan of fiction stories, I would love to read new and exciting stories that will allow me to have a good time while doing my hobby of reading and traveling the world of fiction!
