Top-Ten-Tuesday
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
It’s been a while since I’ve participated in TTT, so I thought I’d jump in this week. Today’s Top Ten Tuesday is:

Top Ten Books on My Fall TBR

For this, I’m using books that are releasing this fall, even though I’ll probably be reading some backlist books as well.

(I’m listing this in order of release date.)

1. Storm Runner by J.C. Cervantes

This one releases today! I loved the first book from this imprint, so I’m ready to jump into this one!!!

2. Wildcard by Marie Lu

I finally read (technically, listened to) a Marie Lu book!! And I really liked it! So, since I recently read Warcross, it makes sense that I should jump into Wildcard very soon. (This one came out today, too.)

3. Dry by Neal Shusterman

Do you see Neal Shusterman’s name on the book? That is all the explanation you need.

4. Grim Lovelies by Megan Shepherd

I’ll confess that the fact that I got a gorgeous book box from the publisher may have amped up my excitement for this book—I mean, who doesn’t love surprise book mail? But any book with an MC from a race of non-humans called Beasties is right up my alley.

5. Shadow of the Fox by Julie Kagawa

I’m actually reading this one right now. Julie Kagawa can do no wrong in my eyes.

6. Dear Evan Hansen by Val Emmich

If you’ve been around my blog at all lately, you know I keep raving about this musical. So the fact that they made it into a book … automatic Must-Read!

7. What if It’s Us? by Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera

Adam Silvera is such a wonderful human being that I will pretty much read anything he writes from here to eternity. The fact that Becky co-wrote this is a super-cool bonus!

8. The Darkest Star by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Who’s ready to jump into the Lux universe again? I know I am!

9. Umbertouched by Livia Blackburn

I was a HUGE fan of Rosemarked, so I can’t wait to read this next book!

10. The Lying Woods by Ashley Elston

Just the title inspires intrigue, right? I’m ready for a little mystery in my (reading) life!

What fall books are you looking forward to? I want to know!

  1. I hope you are loving Shadow of the Fox. I am eager to read it myself! I haven’t listened to Warcross yet, but I had gone ahead and pre-ordered Wildcard anyway. I see it arrived today. Yay! I hope you enjoy all of the books on your list and the other books you read too!

  2. Why have I not read Dry yet!? NO IDEA I NEED TO. Also, What If It’s Us is really cute, I hope you like it- I think you will at least enjoy it cause it’s adorable. Grim Lovelies was pretty decent too I thought. I also really want to read Wildcard, Umbertouched, and The Lying Woods. Hope you love these (especially because it probably means I will too ?)

  3. YEAH for Shusterman. That’s on my list too, of course. The Lying Woods has a great cover and sounds captivating. And I am pretty sure now that I need to get The Storm Runner for my classroom. Also, I am pretty sure What If It’s Us appears on 90% of the lists today. We all love Adam and Becky!

  4. I’m so excited about What If It’s Us!! I just adore Adam and his books, and Becky is fab too, so it’s a cool duo. 🙂 I read an ARC of Dear Evan Hansen and it was SO GOOD. I really hope you love it!

  5. Wildcard- yay! I’ve been so looking forward to that one and now that it’s out I have like three books I want to read ahead of it *sigh*. But I am hoping it’s awesome!

  6. Oh I can attest that What If It’s Us and Grim Lovelies are AMAZING, but particularly the latter ahhhh. It was so magical and also set in Paris (which I should’ve known due to the Eiffel Tower on the front but I didn’t notice?) and definitely a loved fantasy of the year. I really want to read Shadow Of the Fox too!!

  7. Oh, I see you did read Warcross :-).

I reread Warcross last week. It was nice to go (almost) straight from one to the other. I think about half of my Fall TBR is older books (although some of these “older” books were released this summer).
