An Exciting Announcement…

I know I’ve been killing you guys with the hints, but I can finally say it …

I’m now represented by Deborah Warren at East/West Literary Agency!!!

I can’t even begin to tell you guys how thrilled I am about this partnership.  It almost seems surreal. In fact, those of you who’ve been around my blog for the past few weeks know that I was doubting myself there for a while. Impostor Syndrome works fast, trust me, and I kept thinking to myself that it couldn’t really be happening.

It’s. Really. Happening.

I met Deborah at an SCBWI (Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators) conference back in October, and I was thoroughly impressed with her and East/West Literary. The fact that I get to work with her now is honestly a dream come true. Obviously, I still have a long publishing journey ahead of me, but this is a major first step, and I wanted to share my excitement with all of you, my readers. You guys have been cheering me on for years, and I am so incredibly thankful for that!

  1. Congrats, Nicole! It always makes me so happy and excited whenever I see people in the blogging community share these kinds of news! 😀

  2. This is so fantastic, Nicole. I’m another one following you from platform to platform to congratulate you again. It is THAT BIG. I know how hard you’ve been working to get to this point. I’m sure there will still be many miles of work ahead, but you are definitely on the right path!

    • Oh, wow! Maybe we’ll have a chance to meet someday! Will you be at the SCBWI conference in May? (I saw on your website that you often volunteer with them.) Or will you still be avoiding polar vortexes in FL at that point—who knows, with this year’s weather, we might be still experiencing them in June! 🙂
