Sunday Post: Book Pre-order Campaigns & Giveaways Galore – 12/15/19

Posted December 15, 2019 by Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction in Sunday Post / 22 Comments

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.

This past week on FYFA (and in my life):

Not much to say this week, which is probably a good thing (no disasters, for once).  🙂 But one bit of good news is that my oldest officially got into the college she wants to attend (with the merit scholarship we were expecting plus a little extra)! We weren’t surprised with her acceptance, but it’s still nice to have it all official and on paper. Now we start figuring out all the details, like meal plans and housing. She’ll be transferring in as a junior because she has so many credits from our local community college, so she’s way ahead of the game as far as that’s concerned!

Oh, and we celebrated Christmas with extended family yesterday (which is why this post is up late again—since I taught in the K-2 room at church this morning as well—always lots of catching up to do!).

Also, I wanted to mention: Most years I do a list of ALL the reading and blogging challenges I can find, but this year I just don’t have time. BUT I want to point you all to two great resources (bloggers who’ve created very similar lists):

Here’s what you may have missed on the blog since my last Sunday Post:

Book Blogger Birthdays and Blogoversaries:

Birthday-150 Blogoversary-150x150

Here are the birthdays and blogoversaries for this week! I hope you’ll go wish these bloggers well on their special days! Make sure you check out the calendar to see what you might have just missed or what’s coming up. (If you want to be added to the calendar, it’s easy! Just fill out the birthday/blogoversary form.)

Book Haul:

For Review:

More to the Story is a Little Women retelling by Mena Khan, and it sounds so very wonderful! This gorgeous cover was illustrated by Abigail Dela Cruz! Thanks to Salaam Reads for the review copy!

Won:

I won these twin books from NovelKnight and Disney Hyperion!! The Fowl Twins is the first in Eoin Colfer’s new series. This awesome cover was created by Tyler Nevins! The backpacks are super nice and roomy too. One of the books has already made its way to Bernie’s Book Bank, and I’m super excited for it to get delivered to a kid in need!

Great Discussions/Goings On Around the Blogosphere:

Pre-order Campaigns

Listed in order of release date. Any new deals that I just added to the list this week will be denoted with a *** so you can easily find them!

Please note: Almost all pre-order giveaways run “while supplies last,” so they might not be open until the date listed. Pre-0rder early for your best chance to get all the goodies!

Awesome Giveaways:

Twitter Giveaways:

Lots of good stuff! Have any giveaways or great discussions happening on your site right now? Feel free to share them in the comments!

Whoo hoo! Congratulations to your daughter. Admission AND a scholarship. *applause, applause* That’s a cool prize you won. I love a good backpack.

  2. Congrats to your oldest! I just got off the phone with my oldest working out scholarship and tuition stuff. Fun, fun. He’s currently in community college and will be transferring in a year to university to complete his degree. So we’re not far behind y’all.
