Sunday Post: Book Pre-order Campaigns & Giveaways Galore – 8/2/20

Posted August 2, 2020 by Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction in Sunday Post / 17 Comments

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.

This past week on FYFA (and in my life):

  • We watched:
    • My daughter Danielle and I are already more than halfway through season 6 of The 100. Very soon, we will have caught up with the rest of the world!
  • SCBWI Summer Spectacular! I’m attending this online conference—it’s been great so far!
  • We made another gate! My husband and I made gate #2 (out of three) for the kitchen. We’ve run into some issues with installation, so we haven’t decided if we’re “done” or not (it’s up, and it could be called done, but we might change the installations slightly—with projects like this and a house with walls that aren’t actually plumb and level, nothing is ever simple.
  • Reading
    • I finished reading Cinderella Is Dead (and already posted my review!).
    • I’m still listening to Divided We Fall by Trent Reedy.
  • Blogging. I made my way through all the rest of the June and July discussions. This has been a highlight of my blogging lately!
  • Digit! Surprisingly, Digit’s ears just seem to be getting perkier and perkier. We thought it was just a weird growth phase, but then I looked it up and found out that a very small percentage of Aussies have “prick ears” like this, so they’re probably here to stay (though just last night one started folding over randomly, so who knows?). I swear his ears are bigger than his head, and I think they make him even more adorable!! He’s like some crazy bat-dog!

Here’s what you may have missed on the blog since my last Sunday Post:

  1. Tânia @MyLovelySecret

I have been thinking about watching The 100. I did watch the first episode a few years ago.

Digit is just adorable. Look at those perky ears! *.*

    Happy readings!

  2. Omg, Digit is adorable with those ears!! Too cute. I still haven’t started watching this final season of The 100. I’ve episodes recording, but I’ve been lazy and haven’t watched them yet. I still haven’t watched season 3 of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, season 1 of Get Even which just dropped on Friday, and I’ve a stack of DVDs I still need to watch. I guess I find myself constantly busy or doing something where I don’t have time to watch something in full until later and then I’m too tired to stay up longer than an hour or so! Lol.

Yay for the TBR break! Lol. Hope you have a GREAT week!

    Here’s my StS

    Have a GREAT day!

  3. I’ve seen the first couple of seasons of the 100, but that was so long ago. I think I’ll start from the beginning when I begin watching again. I am glad you are enjoying the online conference. Digit is so adorable! I love his ears. I hope you have a great week!

  4. I’m in this book discussion group for YA book on Instagram, and each month is a new book. August is Cinderella is Dead so I’m hoping to get that read so I can talk about it with them.

And awwww Digit is so cute. I love his little bat ears!

  5. I love his ears! I hope my next dog has pointy ears. All 4 of the dogs I’ve had in my life were floppy, and they all had tons of ear infections. My current dog seems to have infections constantly. Have a great week!

    • Digit’s ears seem to change constantly, but they seem to be back to standing up all the time (with a very slight crook in one of them). I kind of hope they stay that way because they’re super cute, but honestly they’ve been cute in all their myriad of positions. 🙂

  6. Bat dog! I love Digit’s ears, they do look huge but just makes his face all that more adorable to look at. And colour me all kinds of impressed at you catching up on all of those discussions! I didn’t do the challenge this year (which was probably a good job as my blogging has been all over the place) but I always use your link up for looking at new posts and blogs to read.
