Sunday Post header

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.

This past week on FYFA (and in my life):

  • Reading
    • In case you missed it, I’m a Round One judge for the Cybils awards, and it’s actually jump-started my reading!! I read FIVE books this week!!!!
    • For Cybils, I read Scritch Scratch, A Wish in the Dark, Skunk and Badger, and Midnight at the Barclay Hotel. I also started reading Race to the Sun.
    • I’m still listening to Honor Bound by Rachel Caine and Ann Aguirre.
    • I finished reading Admission by Julie Buxbaum.
  • Weird dizziness. I felt a bit better as far as my dizziness went this week. Maybe it was just dehydration? I’m not 100% convinced yet, but we’ll see if my reprieve lasts.
  • The Dogs! Here are some new pics of Digit and Bella:

Here’s what you may have missed on the blog since my last Sunday Post:

  1. Hmmm, I will await your thoughts on Admission. I set it aside earlier this year and then the release date changed, so I will probably be picking it up again next month. I have loved Buxbaum’s books in the past, so I am hopeful. I am glad to hear the dizziness is better. I hope you can figure out what causing it. As always, your pups are too cute.

    • I remember seeing your review when I marked the book as read on Goodreads. There are definitely some political views thrown into the book, but I didn’t think they took focus. Still, I remember reading your views about politics in books in that one discussion post, so I’m not surprised this bugged you. 🙂

  2. I hope your dizziness continues to stay away!! Not fun! If it comes back, it could be something with your ears.

    Love the doggies -so cute.

I really want to read Scritch Scratch!

    • Yeah, I went to a doctor and he wasn’t really sure what was causing it. My ears don’t seem to be infected or clogged. And based on my symptoms it doesn’t manifest itself like some of the typical inner-ear-caused dizziness. But I have been a lot better this week, so hopefully that will last.

  3. I hope your dizziness gets under control! It could very much be the weather outside. Both me and my dad get super dizzy around the fall time because of the allergens. But, whatever it is, fingers crossed it gets better!

  4. Congrats on being a judge! that sounds fun. And I hope the dizziness stays away.

Still shocking about Grace, even after all this time.

Thank you for the kind words on my blog, as well. I am feeling much better! 🙂

  5. I had a few weird dizzy spells the past few weeks too. I’ve been stress drinking a bit more coffee (I usually only have one cup) so I was thinking that was it.

look how big the puppy is getting!!!! I just had the girl spayed last Friday and she is DONE with confinement lol Unfortunately she has 10 days left. And Kai is acting like they’ll never be together again. lol
