Sunday Post header

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.

This past week on FYFA (and in my life):

  • TV
    • Watching SupernaturalWe’re well into season 6 of Supernatural now. I’m not quite as enamored with this season as I was with the last (soulless Sam isn’t my favorite), but still enjoying it.
    • Watched Klaus. We watched our first family Christmas movie of the year. Netflix’s Klaus is super cute—the whole family really enjoyed it!
  • Reading
    • We’re getting close to the deadline for the first round of the Cybils Awards, so I’ve kicked into high gear with my reading!!
    • I finished listening to Ghosts of Greenglass House and started listening to Willa and the Whale.
    • I read A Dreadful Fairy Book; Another Dreadful Fairy Book; Hide and Seeker; Curse of the Night Witch; Cleo Porter and the Body Electric; The Story Of Babushka; Eleanor, Alice, & the Roosevelt Ghosts; and The Mostly Invisible Boy. I also DNFd two books after the required fifty pages and started reading Mulrox and the Malcognitos and Don’t Turn Out the Lights (which is a collection of short stories, so I’m reading them in between other things).
  • Putting up blinds. We got new honeycomb shades from SelectBlinds. They were super easy to install, which was nice. No other projects this week (unless you count the gumbo we made yesterday, which is a bit of a production). We’re getting tired!
  • Decorating. We finished decorating for Christmas!

  • The Dogs! Here are a couple of random shots of Digit.

Goofy sleep position #592.

So tired after a rousing game of fetch in the back yard!

  1. Yeah, season 6 had a rough start. The show almost ended at season 5 so they kind of had to scramble some loose ends to throw in at the end of 5 to jump start 6. It was still a bit rough in my opinion. My FAVORITE episode is still in season 14 with Scooby Doo! So you got a ways to go! Lol.

Yay for decorations and getting some reading done! Hope you will enjoy the books you have to finish soon! And yay for not adding to the TBR pile! In essence, I really only added 2 books to my palette this week! Lol!

    Here’s my StS

    Have a GREAT day!

    Old Follower 🙂

  2. Your decorations look amazing! We’re generally pretty late with our decorations, but we seem to be super late this year…we still haven’t put them up! That’s definitely a job for this week, along with wrapping presents!
    Have a great week!

  3. Nice tree! And yay for decorating- we finally got ours done too. It took us forever this year!

Hope you’re having a great holiday season and have a good week!

  4. Iza

Your tree is beautifully decorated 🙂 I’m currently reaching the end of Supernatural’s season 8 – love Charlie. Have a great week and give a caress to Digit for me 🙂
