The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news ~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.

This past week on FYFA (and in my life):

I don’t even know where the week went. I went to my daughter’s final track meet, had a Zoom meeting with her college counselor, we recorded a video for her voice lessons recital, and I also helped her study for her AP tests. So, I guess it was a lot of Danielle. LOL!

  • Bernie’s Book Bank. My mom and I spent Thursday afternoon volunteering at Bernie’s Book Bank. It’s the first time we’ve been back in a very long time, and it felt amazing to be back!
  • Writing Update. I promised myself I would get my current draft to my critique partners, so it’s happening tomorrow, even if I don’t think the draft is perfect. (I don’t think it ever will be!)
  • What I Read:
    • Um, nothing? I mean, I continued a couple of the books I started, but I really didn’t make a lot of progress. Sigh.
  • TV We Watched:
    • America’s Next Top Model. Yeah, I watched way too much of this. This is a great show to have on in the background when other things are going on.

Here’s what you may have missed on the blog since my last Sunday Post:

I had another post started, but never managed to finish it. Ugh!

  1. Whew, it sounds like you and Danielle have been busy!! I did some reading this past week, which I’m happy about. I didn’t read QUITE as much as I’d hoped but I really do hope that June is better on that front. I want to do better with writing too – working on my own novel, but also getting some things scheduled for the blog, etc.

  2. Yes! Last week was crazy! It was my last week of school at my very first library job. So I had a lot to get done before it was over. Then I was still feeling sick from the bad case of vertigo I had last weekend. And finally I was in Branson for this past weekend.

As for writing, I am hoping to get some done this summer. I hope you were able to get your manuscript to your writing partners. I wish I could find some, fellow romance writers, that then I would feel some accountability. Have a great week!
