Sunday Post header

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news ~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.

This past week on FYFA (and in my life):

  • Jade’s home! My oldest came home for winter break on Thursday. She’ll be home a whole month!
  • Writing. I got feedback from my first actual middle grade reader so that was exciting! And I’m still making good headway on my revisions. (Though I had to take a break these last couple of days for Cybils reading.)
  • What I Read:
    • For the Cybils, I read Everywhere Blue by Joanne Rossmassler Fritz; Muted by Tami Charles; Call Me Athena: Girl from Detroit by Colby Cedar Smith; Recipe for Disaster by Aimee Lucido; What About Will by Ellen Hopkins;
      Growing Up Trans edited by Lindsay Herriot and Kate Fry; and Red, White, and Whole by Rajani LaRocca.
    • I’m still listening to Our Violent Ends by Chloe Gong.
  • What I Watched:
    • I finished watching the All-Stars seasons of The Amazing Raceso I’m now done watching everything I can watch for free. I’ll be waiting for the last couple seasons to make their way to Hulu.
    • I watched Baking Impossible, a fun competition show that combines baking and engineering.

Here’s what you may have missed on the blog since my last Sunday Post:
