Welcome to the November monthly link-up for the 2016 Book Blog Discussion Challenge hosted by Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction and Shannon @ It Starts at Midnight!
Well, our year is coming closer to ending and, as usually happens at this time of year, our discussions are dwindling a bit. But don’t give up yet! There are still plenty of things to discuss in 2016!
The winner of our September discussion challenge link-up was Cilla from Paved with Books. She chose the book Laurinda by Alice Pung (which I’d never heard of, but it’s set in an exclusive school for girls, so it fits the theme of school perfectly!)
If you don’t know what this challenge is all about or haven’t signed up yet (but want to), head on over to the challenge sign-up page to learn more! Even if you’d rather not join, we hope you’ll stop by occasionally to check out the MANY discussion posts that are being linked up here – there’s lots of great discussions going on!
If you need some ideas for discussion ideas this month, try out one of these topics:
- Now that the year is winding down, how do you feel you’re doing on your reading goals? Are you ready for December or are you thinking, “NO! I need more time to read!”
- Here in the US, we celebrate Thanksgiving in November. Tell us something in the bookish world you’re thankful for!
- Tell us more about you! What’s your favorite hobby outside of book blogging? Do you like to read books that have to do with your hobby in some way? Recommend them!
Looking for more inspiration, or want to see some discussion posts as an example? Check out the discussion posts on Feed Your Fiction Addiction or It Starts at Midnight (click the links to be brought directly to our discussion posts).
I’m being lazy and uncreative this month. For the giveaway, you can choose any book that either Shannon or I (Nicole) have ever reviewed on our blogs (up to a $17 value). Click on our names to be brought to a list of our reviews. As always, the giveaway is open internationally, as long as The Book Depository ships to you. (Or anywhere, if you’re willing to accept an ebook.)
Make sure to link up all of your November discussion posts here. This linky and the November giveaway will be open until December 7th (to give people a little extra time to link up – just in case you’re disorganized like we are). If, by some chance, you forget to link up a post this month, you can add it to next month’s linky (but no duplicates, please).
Go forth and discuss!
