Welcome to the July monthly link-up for the 2019 Book Blog Discussion Challenge hosted by Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction and Shannon @ It Starts at Midnight!
Somehow the year is half over already and wow didn’t it just begin? Someone could write a discussion about the ridiculous passage of time…
The winner of our May discussion challenge giveaway was Sam @ We Live and Breathe Books! Sam hasn’t chosen a book yet because Shannon says she completely forgot to choose or email a winner until right now. She promises she’ll DM her before the post goes live. (And this is why Shannon and I get along so very nicely—we’re both totally disorganized, but we somehow always still manage to pull it together to get things done. And when one of us messes up and does something late, there’s absolutely zero judgment because, well …)
- If you don’t know what this challenge is all about or haven’t signed up yet (but want to), head on over to the challenge sign-up page to learn more!
- Even if you’d rather not join, we hope you’ll stop by occasionally to check out the MANY discussion posts that are being linked up here – there’s lots of great discussions going on!
- Looking for even more inspiration, or want to see some discussion posts as an example? Check out the discussion posts on Feed Your Fiction Addiction or It Starts at Midnight!
Featured Blogger(s!)
This month’s featured blogger (as chosen by Shannon) is Wendy @ Falconer’s Library! Here are two that Shannon especially appreciated:
(Commenting on any of the discussions on Wendy’s blog will give you extra entries in the giveaway, by the way—if you already commented on them when they went up originally, that counts too!)
Since it’s July (and even though the US is a little- or a lot- garbage fire-y), let’s do any book set in or that mentions the US. It could also be a future US like in Panem! You know we’re flexible! As always, the giveaway is open to anyone that The Book Depository ships to (or, if TBD doesn’t ship to you, you could choose an ebook!) up to a $17 value.
Make sure to link up all of your July discussion posts here. This linky and the July giveaway will be open until August 7th (to give people a little extra time to link up – just in case you’re disorganized like we are). If, by some chance, you forget to link up a post this month, you can add it to next month’s linky (but no duplicates, please).
Go forth and discuss!

*Enthusiastic waves* That explains why someone just commented on my mood reader post! Thanks for featuring me, Nicole and Shannon!
Yay! I’m excited to hear when a featured blogger gets extra visits. 🙂
