They say a soul is the immaterial essence, the animating principle, the actuating cause of an individual life.
But what if you had to share yours with the one person you hated the most?
The soul mate principle states that for every one soul there is another that will recognize its match, hence creating the perfect union.
But what if you had two soul mates, which would you choose?
What if your choices had eternal ramification?
Deceived, the debut novel in the Soul Keeper Series, is a modern day love story about the implications of having more than one soul mate, and having to choose between the two of them. The decisions of the gods has left the next generation, their heirs, torn between fate and reality, and the balance of the future hangs in anticipation of what's to come.
L.A. Starkey is my newest editing client. She’s recently released the first two books in her Soul Keepers Trilogy. I don’t review books I edit (since it seems like a conflict of interest), but I DO want to let all of my readers know about these awesome books and give you a chance to win them.
Also, check out L.A. Starkey’s top ten things she’s addicted to!
And Check Out Book #2!
10 Things I’m Addicted to!
About the Author:Laurie Starkey is the author of the upcoming Soul Keeper Series, and The Liarus Detective Series, both supernatural young adult series. She lives in Houston, Texas with her hubby and three beautiful kiddo’s.
I’m addicted to my hubs too, but I must confess mine doesn’t sounds nearly as amazing as Starkey’s (sorry dear!). LMAO! I feel like we’re sister’s from another mother; coffee, books, computers, PJs… are all things that I LOVE! I try to do ’em all simultaneously when I can. Fun list!
I know – her husband must be a saint! I laughed when I saw the PJs thing too because I’m always sitting around in mine – my daughter and I would both live in our PJs if we could!
I love this list how could I not, especially when I think I can relate to all of them in my own way of course. 😉
Great guest post!
I can relate to all of them too! I agree that it’s a great list!
awww… what a fun post and congrats to LA on the new release! This sounds fantastic!!! thanks for sharing!
You’re very welcome! I have loved working with Laurie and am thrilled to be able to help spread the word about her books!
This could be my list lol. But now I’m curious what this ridiculously goodlooking/hot guy looks like.
I know, right? I think I need to meet Laurie’s husband! LOL!
Thanks for doing this Nicole. I appreciate it and you in a million ways. 🙂
Glad everyone stopped by!!!
*Is freezing in NY*
Laurie 🙂
Glad you’re enjoying NY!! I can’t wait to go back again for BEA next year!
That was a great guest post. Love triangles are very hard for me to read, but this does sound really good 🙂
I know – love triangles can definitely be hit or miss. Starkey does a great job with hers, but I know that some people just can’t handle them. 🙂
Yes, both books sound great! Looking forward to reading them. Thank you
Haha!! Yes! Glad to see you are addicted to your hubby!
Fantastic top 10, I am addicted to a few of them too, especially pizza since we purchased a pizza oven!! lol
