Review, Interview & Giveaway – The Guardians by T.M. Franklin

Review, Interview & Giveaway – The Guardians by T.M. Franklin

Giveaways (Ended), Reviews 3 ★★★★½

The Guardians is an exciting sequel to MORE – I loved this book even more than the first book in the series!!  We get to learn more about the Race and see our favorite characters put in all sorts of perilous situations – what else can you ask for? The negatives: Could have used more Caleb and Ava?  This is honestly getting very nitpicky.  While thinking about this book, this is the only negative I could really come up with, but it didn’t even bother me all that much.  Since the book starts out three months after book #1 ended, Caleb and Ava’s relationship has advanced quite a bit.  We get to see their new bond, but Caleb and Ava are separated for a good portion of The Guardians, so we don’t get to see that relationship really develop as much as you might like.  However, see below for an… Read more »

Buy Links: Amazon I Barnes & Noble Lichgates is an incredibly inventive fantasy adventure, full of danger, magic and mythical creatures! Top Ten Tuesday – Covers I Wish I Could Redesign

Top Ten Tuesday – Covers I Wish I Could Redesign

Top Ten Tuesday 0

Today’s Top Ten Tuesday is: Top Three Covers I Wish I Could Redesign I actually had a really hard time with this one.  While there are plenty of bad covers out there, most of them are for books that I don’t have any special love for so I wouldn’t care enough to redesign them.  So, instead I’m just showing two covers I wish I could redesign and then showing some that have already been redesigned (and they’re much better!) Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer – What’s the significance of the red ribbon?  Am I forgetting something huge from the book?  I don’t know, but this just looks dumb to me. Girls Love Travis Walker by Anne Pfeffer – This book was SO good –… Read more »
