It’s a new year! Which means a new year of discussing books with all of you! We’re excited to welcome new challenge members AND to welcome back those of you who are joining us once again. Looking forward to a fantastic year!
The winner of our November discussion challenge link-up was Evelina @ Avalinah’s Books. She won a book that featured Native Americans (or other indigenous people) and chose The Ways of My Grandmothers by Beverly Hungry Wolf, which looks incredibly interesting. Hope you love it, Evelina!
If you don’t know what this challenge is all about or haven’t signed up yet (but want to), head on over to the challenge sign-up page to learn more!
Even if you’d rather not join, we hope you’ll stop by occasionally to check out the MANY discussion posts that are being linked up here – there’s lots of great discussions going on!
If you’re looking for inspiration, check out our list of discussion post ideas. Looking for even more inspiration, or want to see some discussion posts as an example? Check out the discussion posts on Feed Your Fiction Addiction or It Starts at Midnight!
This month’s featured blogger (as chosen by Nicole & Random.org) is Ali @ Ali’s Bookshelf. Since Ali is brand-new to the challenge, I haven’t read her discussions yet. BUT she has a label for her discussion posts (Ali Talks) and some of her discussions sound fantastic! I plan to read several of them! You can check them out here:
(Commenting on any of Ali’s discussions will give you extra entries in the giveaway, by the way—if you already commented on them when they went up originally, that counts too!)
It’s a new year and a new you! Or the old you but an extra awesome version of you for 2018. Because of that, you have two choices for the giveaway this month: You can either choose any 2018 pre-order or you can choose a self-help book. You can decide what constitutes a self-help book (you’ll find that we’re really flexible about the standards for our giveaway).
As always, the giveaway is open to anyone that The Book Depository ships to (or, if TBD doesn’t ship to you, you could choose an ebook!) up to $17 value.
Make sure to link up all of your January discussion posts here. This linky and the January giveaway will be open until February 7th (to give people a little extra time to link up – just in case you’re disorganized like we are). If, by some chance, you forget to link up a post this month, you can add it to next month’s linky (but no duplicates, please).
