It’s time for the August Wrap-Up Round-Up!
The July giveaway ends today, so head over there for your last chance to enter!
This is the link-up AND giveaway for our August wrap-up posts.
I realized I was making things a whole lot harder on myself (and others) for no real reason by splitting up the giveaway and link-up posts, so they’re going to be in one post from now on.
If you don’t already know about the Monthly Wrap-Up Round-Up, read the information below:
Every month, at the end of the month, I’ll put up a monthly wrap-up link-up post where everyone can link up their month-end posts. There are no specific requirements for what needs to be in your post, as long as you have a book blog and your wrap-up summarizes your month in some way.
The round-up will include a giveaway that encourages people to visit YOUR month end wrap-ups, giving entries for commenting and/or sharing.
Anyone can participate in the giveaway—you won’t have to actually link up in order to participate.
If you don’t already post a monthly wrap-up and want some ideas on what to include, click here to check out my advice on the topic!
Share with your friends so they’ll know to join us! You can tweet using #WrapUpRoundUp
The August Link-up
I created this giveaway to encourage people to visit people’s monthly wrap-up posts. There are entries for commenting on the wrap-up posts in the link-up. The May/June winner was Danielle H., and she chose Amina’s Voice. Congrats, Danielle!
The giveaway is open to everyone! You don’t have to link up to the wrap-up round-up to be eligible.
The Make Me Read It Giveaway
For this giveaway, I made a list of (some of) the books on my shelves that I’ve been meaning to read for ages and haven’t gotten to. The winner will choose a book off the list that you want, and I will give myself TWO WEEKS to read it and then send it off to you.
More fun with this giveaway: If you would like (this is not required), we could then review the book together. You would just let me know that you want to do a dual review and then read the book after I send it to you. Then we can both review the book together and compare our thoughts. Again, this is certainly not a requirement of winning, but I thought it would be a fun way to spice up the giveaway a little.
One little disclaimer about the giveaway: I’m not guaranteeing a certain format for this giveaway—could be ARC, paperback or hardcover—and I’m reserving the right to keep my own copy of the book if I absolutely adore it (and then I’ll buy you a copy and send it).
Check out the list below to see what books you can choose from if you’re the winner. Since I don’t want to leave my international readers out, the giveaway is open internationally as long as TBD ships to you (FYI, I will be sending the least expensive format available).
Clicking on the links in the list will bring you to the book in Goodreads.
Just follow the instructions in the Rafflecopter to enter!

Thank you so much for hosting the giveaway!
You’re very welcome!!
You really should read A Discovery of Witches. It is great and it has been made into a tv show. It airs this fall in UK and in 2019 in the US.
Oh the TV show just might be the thing that pushes me to finally read it!

Took me a bit to get caught up with July’s round up but I am doing well on August’s! Thanks for hosting.
Most of the time, I end up reading the last month’s wrap-ups when I post the next one. Better late than never, I guess!
Thanks for hosting this, Nicole!
I can’t receive book post any more – off travelling again – but I love checking out the other roundups for new TBR ideas 🙂
Glad you’re still visiting, even if you can’t participate. Enjoy your travels!!
Thanks for arranging this! Look forward to discovering everyone’s monthly reading highlights 🙂
Glad you’re joining us!!
I enjoy reading and “catching up” with everyone here. People share life details with us that it feels like such a close community. Nicole, I think combining these two posts was genius. I always look forward to your reviews, because I know they will be honest and never give spoilers.
I don’t know why I didn’t combine them before. I think I felt like I should give people a chance to link up first, but there’s really no reason to worry about that since I leave the linky up as long as the giveaway anyway.
