Posted February 20, 2019 by Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction in Fun with Spam, Let's Discuss / 42 Comments

I’m excited to say that spammers have figured out ways around those pesky checkboxes in the comments section, and I now have plenty of new material for these spam posts again! So…

It’s time for a new installment of Fun with SPAM, where we peek into the abyss of the Spam folder to find a few gems and imagine … what if I were really going to reply to these random crazy comments?

Take a look at what I might say:

If you happen to use goldfish, they may eat your vegetation.

I was really concerned about that. It’s the only reason I haven’t used any goldfish on the blog. I’m really proud of the vegetation around here, and I wouldn’t want it to get eaten! Thank you for your valuable insights.

What i do not realize is in truth how you are not actually much more smartly-preferred than you may be now. You are very intelligent. You recognize thus considerably when it comes to this matter, produced me in my view imagine it from so many various angles. Its like women and men are not interested except it is something to do with Lady gaga! Your own stuffs excellent. Always take care of it up!

I can’t even tell you what an honor it is to have someone of your caliber acknowledge my incredible intelligence. I’ve been trying to tell my friends and family for years that they should smartly prefer me, but alas, to no avail. They’re obviously only interested in Lady Gaga!

My relatives all the time say that I am killing my time here at web, however I know I am getting know-how all the time by reading such nice posts.

Oh, you’ll be getting know-how all the time around here. I mean, I know how to do a lot of things and I plan to share them all in my many nice posts.

Perhaps you and your friend just have busy schedules and a great deal of making up ground to do. It annoys Amy as she thinks that his behaviour is not gentlemanly.

Well, thank you for this lovely friendship advice. I hadn’t even realized that Amy was upset with me (or perhaps with one of the ungentlemanly characters featured on my blog?). We obviously have a great deal of making up ground to do since I’m so out of touch with her feelings on this matter.

I have read so many content concerning the blogger lovers but this paragraph is really a nice article, keep it up.

Oh, the blogger lovers have been all over the blogosphere lately. I just need to figure out how to get into their clique. Maybe if I keep writing really good paragraphs they’ll let me in.

Trump’s escape to most of asia is a really pageant attached to flattery.

Wait, Trump escaped to Asia? Sorry not sorry, my Asian blogger friends.

After a coincidental tour date on the same day as Valentine’s Day in 2012, the Newtown Creek sewage therapy plant in Brooklyn, New York, has hosted a Valentine-themed tour.

I’m so sorry that I missed informing my readers of this before Valentine’s Day! I hope this epic event will be repeated next year; I know I have a few blogger friends that feel that a Valentine-themed sewage tour would be a highly symbolic way to celebrate the holiday.

See, spam really can be fun! If you liked this post, check out my past spam posts—they’re good for a laugh!

  1. I’ve never seen spam like this, mine is usually far less interesting but will keep a closer eye out. Love your responses. Glad we never got the opportunity for the sewage tour. Not on my bucket list!

  2. Ahaha oh what in the world ????‍♀️

I do check my spam comments quite frequently, as sometimes some actual comments ends up there for whatever reason.. alas mine aren’t as gold. It’s been a while since i’ve had any, but the one I remember most was a bunch of unrelated religious stuff?? Like seemed they wrote something actually out of the bible at some point where each paragraph went on a different post? ? which… considering im an atheist, like man wtf? Where is that even coming from..

It’s also even funnier that you included potential replies!! With mine im mostly just speechless ??

    • Yeah, I definitely get a lot of spam that’s just random passages from some book or a long paragraph giving facts about something that has nothing to do with anything. It’s so weird because it’s obvious that no one would see these and think they’re real comments, but I guess they get through spam filters sometimes since they seem like actual English? That’s all I can figure.

I really have fun with my “replies” to the spam. It’s hilarious to think about what you might actually say back to them.

  3. Sometimes I love my spam and it can make me laugh so much. But a lot of the time it is just so pointless and I delete them really quickly 😛 I find it so funny that you get such a wide range of things – from Trump moving to Asia, to Lady Gaga and to it actually sort of including blogging in some way or form 😛
