Sunday Post: Pre-order Campaigns & Giveaways Galore – 3/24/19

Posted March 24, 2019 by Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction in Sunday Post / 38 Comments

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.

This past week on FYFA (and in my life):

I’ve been working on my new MG manuscript. Slowly but surely.  🙂  I’m finding with verse I can’t get anything close to the number of words written in a sitting as I can when I write prose. But I’m working …

Next week (or, I guess, this week) is my kids’ spring break. We don’t have anything exciting planned, but we’ll have a relaxing week at home.

Here’s what you may have missed on the blog since my last Sunday Post:

Always lots of posts at the end/beginning of the month!

Book Blogger Birthdays and Blogoversaries:

Birthday-150 Blogoversary-150x150

Here are the birthdays and blogoversaries for this week! I hope you’ll go wish these bloggers well on their special days! Make sure you check out the calendar to see what you might have just missed or what’s coming up. (If you want to be added to the calendar, it’s easy! Just fill out the birthday/blogoversary form.)

Book Haul:

For Review:

I signed up for the blog tour for the Samantha Spinner Books, and Delacorte sent me both books for review (even though I told them I only needed book 1–guess I’ll have an extra book for a giveaway!).

Purchased:

One of my writing groups has been meeting at Barbara’s Bookstore, and I thought it would be a good idea to support the store with a purchase. (Plus, I still have birthday money from my mom that I’ve been slowly spending on books. I must choose wisely!) Since I just recently finished The Lunar Chronicles, I decided it’s time to jump on board with Renegades!

Great Discussions/Goings On Around the Blogosphere:

  • Love food? Who doesn’t? Heather over @ Based on a True Story hosts a year-long challenge called Foodies Read. You can link up posts for books that have to do with food (non-fiction or fiction where food is a major part of the plot), and she has a monthly giveaway! Check it out!
  • AJ @ Read All the Things tells us 10 Things Authors Get Wrong About High School. I basically wrote a whole post in the comments, so I obviously thought it was an interesting topic!

Pre-order Campaigns

Listed in order of release date. Any new deals that I just added to the list this week will be denoted with a *** so you can easily find them!

Please note: Almost all pre-order giveaways run “while supplies last,” so I can’t guarantee that they’ll be open until the date listed. Pre-0rder early for your best chance to get all the goodies!

More Awesome Giveaways:

Lots of good stuff! Have any giveaways or great discussions happening on your site right now? Feel free to share them in the comments!

  1. Oh good luck on the writing! I admire anyone who can write in verse. And enjoy your spring break! Sometimes a spring break at home is the best kind!

  2. Yay for Spring Break! It seems all the schools around here are on Spring Break on different weeks! It’s insane! Lol!

Hope you enjoy your new reads! I still need to read Renegades! I was initially going to read it back to back with its sequel when it was a duology, but now that it’s a trilogy I find myself thinking I might as well keep to it since I haven’t found time to get it into my queue!

Hope you enjoy the week ahead!

    Have a GREAT day!

  3. Good luck with the book! I hope your kids have tons of fun on break. Thanks for giving my post a shout out. It was an interesting topic to think about, and the comments have been teaching me how schools around the world operate.

  4. I need a week to do nothing, even though I couldn’t possibly and then complain I’m bored the whole time! It’s a rough cycle.

I can’t wait to read your books, BTW!

  5. Jen

Here’s hoping you are having a wonderful time with your kiddos being off from school! I’m looking forward to our spring break! Our isn’t until the middle of April since we just had Ski Week off in February. And happy reading Samantha Spinner, the cover looks absolutely adorable!
