The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news ~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.
This past week on FYFA (and in my life):
Happy Easter to all of you who celebrate! My dad is coming over today for the first time in a very long time, so that will be really nice.
This week, I spent a whole lot of time planning our upcoming vacation to the Ozarks. We won’t be heading out till August—hopefully we’ll all be vaccinated by then. Then we spent the past two days installing our new invisible dog fence. We’ve just started the training, so we’re really hoping it works well for our dogs.
- What I Read:
- I finished listening to So You Want to Talk About Race by Ijeoma Oluo and started listening to The Burning Shadow by Jennifer Armentrout.
- I started reading Better Than the Movies because it just looked too cute (see my pic below).
- TV We Watched:
- Supernatural. We’re still watching season 10.
- Married at First Sight. I finished season 10–these couples were definitely a mess!
- Dog Agility: Not only did we get to do some agility in the backyard this week, but we also headed back to class this week!

Another busy week for you! I’m a little worried about traveling but we are considering doing a few things when we go to my niece’s wedding mid May. We will both be fully vaccinated at least. The kinds of things I would love to do like hike around parks may not work for my pain situation although I hope it’s over by then but I’ve said that for months. We also like zoos which have the same walking problems. It can be tricky to find gluten free food and then each state may have different rules for restaurants. So I’ve got a bunch of research to do.
Anne – Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
I hope the invisible dog fence works for you. Happy Easter.
Oooh a vacation on the horizon? Sound like so much fun!! At the speed things are moving along, I really think you guys will be vaccinated by then! Hopefully, at least!
I’m trying to remember what season 10 of SPN is about… but there are so many seasons it’s hard to keep them straight ? Looking at the episodes, there are so many that I love! I always got back and re-watch the silly ones when I don’t know what to watch and I just need something to put in. Fan Fiction is one of my favorites! I also loved Ask Jeeves–the characters in that one were so silly! Oh and Hibbing 911! Joddi and Donna are two of my favorite characters, so that’s one of my favorite episodes of the show! I believe this is also the season where we meet Rowena, who is amazing! I love her! I hope you’re enjoying the series!
I hope you had a lovely Easter and wonderful visit with your father. Fingers crossed things are looking up by August. Better Than the Movies does look cute. I am excited to read that one.
Thanks for sharing our blogoversary is coming up 🙂 We seriously have nothing planned. WOW. How to keep things fun year after year haha!
Keep watching and enjoying Supernatural but whatever you do, do NOT watch the season 15 finale. Just stop at the episode before.
I hope you had a good Easter!
Happy Easter! I also want to plan a vacation, and I’m hoping we’ll get to Charleston this summer. Fingers crossed!
Happy Belated Easter!! That’s wonderful you were able to see your dad after so long.
Planning a vacation sounds so awesome right now. I’m sure it will be a blast.
