The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news ~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.
This past week on FYFA (and in my life):
- New writing project! Yep, that’s right, I started on a new MG verse novel. It’s obviously very early on, but I need to keep up the momentum.
- Orchid show at the Botanic Gardens. I went with some friends to the orchid show at the Chicago Botanic Gardens. So many pretty flowers!
- What I ReadI read Love, Decoded by Jennifer Yen and The Ogress and the Orphans by Kelly Barnhill. I also started reading Ellen Outside the Lines by A.J. Sass.
- I continued to listen to When We Were Magic by Sarah Gailey.
- What I Watched:Danielle, my mom, and I are now watching Season 4 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, along with Season 1 of Angel.
- I also watched Is It Cake? on Netflix. A perfectly ridiculous show, which I enjoyed.
Here’s what you may have missed on the blog since my last Sunday Post:
- I didn’t manage to post anything this week. 🙁

It’s awesome that you’re starting a new project. I just finished my final climax chapter this week. And that’s great that you got Jennifer Chan is not alone. I just got Lines of Courage by Jennifer Nielsen, one of my favorite authors. It’s so good. Natalie @ Literary Rambles
Netflix keeps telling me to watch that cake show because Netflix knows my entire personality. I hope you like Jennifer Chan Is Not Alone. That’s one of my most-anticipated 2022 books.
Excellent job keeping the writing momentum going. I am also trying to keep writing and it’s not always easy. We’re also watching Is it Cake and loving it.
Good luck with the new writing project!
Anne – Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
I feel like I’m so behind on blog related things. I’ve just been really tired lately so I’m not really up too late. Good luck on the new writing project! 🙂
Lauren
Yay for getting some writing done! I’ve done no actual writing on my first day of my writing spring break trip, but I’ve done some editing and that is good! Have a great week!
Good luck with the book! I hope you are endlessly inspired. I have never been to a flower show. I have seen pictures, and I imagine it was even prettier in person. Sounds fun!
Good luck. Congrats on the book haul.
I saw a preview of Is It Cake? and it looks like so much fun! My kids and I love watching Nailed It, they laugh hysterically every time lol! Wishing you a wonderful week ♥!
