Welcome to the June monthly link-up for the 2015 Book Blog Discussion Challenge hosted by Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction and Shannon @ It Starts at Midnight!
I can’t believe the year is nearly halfway over! This challenge has been going better than we ever could have imagined – we’ve been having an amazing time discussing books with all of you!
The winner of our April discussion challenge link-up was Julie @ Chapter Break! Huge congrats to Julie 🙂
If you don’t know what this challenge is all about or haven’t signed up yet (but want to), head on over to the challenge sign-up page to learn more! Even if you’d rather not join, we hope you’ll stop by occasionally to check out the MANY discussion posts that are being linked up here – there’s lots of great discussions going on!
You guys have been coming up with some great discussion ideas! But, if you’re coming up blank this month, try out one of these topics:
- Do your reading habits change in the summer? Tell us about it!
- Which do you prefer: Series or standalones, and why?
- OTPs: Can you have more than one and still call them OTPs?
Looking for more inspiration, or want to see some discussion posts as an example? Check out the discussion posts on Feed Your Fiction Addiction or It Starts at Midnight (click the links to be brought directly to our discussion posts).
a Rafflecopter giveaway
Make sure to link up all of your June discussion posts here. This linky and the June giveaway will be open until July 7th (to give people a little extra time to link up – just in case you’re disorganized like we are – in fact, I just finally linked up a couple of my discussion posts from last month!! Um, oops!). If, by some chance, you forget to link up a post this month, you can add it to next month’s linky (but no duplicates, please). ‘);

Go forth, and discuss!

Great idea. I’m often stuck with coming up with interesting discussions, so this is great!
I know – sometimes coming up with new ideas can be hard!
I an’t believe the year is half way over either, so crazy! Glad the challenge is going so well for you!!
I know, it’s crazy, right? Honestly, this challenge has tootally exceeded my expectations and I’ve been loving it!!
Sounds like a fun challenge, glad you’re enjoying it!:)
It’s been so much fun!!
Where is this year going? I’m going to try and answer some of your question prompts in June! I like all three questions (OTP is One True Pairing, right?) and I’m looking to blog a little more about random stuff since I’m no longer promoting RECLAIMED 🙂
I know – the time is just flying!! Yes, OTP is One True Pairing – Shannon is totally the mastermind behind this month’s discussion ideas, so I take zero credit!
Gah, I need to do this! Can I link up even if I didn’t do the sign-up post?
Yes – no worries! Feel free to link-up without doing the sign-up if you want (though you’re still welcome to add yourself to the sign-up as well). Join us! I love your discussions!
This sounds like a fun feature Nicole! Will have to try and check some out!
Naomi @ Naomi’s Reading Palace
Yes, definitely come by and check out all of the fun discussions going on around here!
Agh, I need to do more of these discussion posts. I even have some ideas saved; these are just harder for me to write/schedule. They take more time I guess. I love visiting other people’s discussion posts though.
I know – last week I didn’t manage a discussion, even though I try really hard to always get one in!

Oh crap, I totally forgot to link all my discussion posts, I guess I’ll have to do it this month. Love the challenge!
Even I sometimes forget to link up, so no need to worry! It all evens out in the end! 🙂
Hey Nicole & Shannon,
I had an idea after reading Discussion Post #63 from Lilybloombooks: http://lilybloombooks.com/sharing-content-on-social-media/
What if the Rafflecopter had an entry for tweeting or sharing someone else’s discussion post? People could do this once a day. It’s a way to spread the love.
This is a FANTASTIC idea! I tried to get a little bit of that in with commenting on other people’s posts, but why not add an extra entry for sharing? In fact, I’m going to go add it to the July Rafflecopter right now!
