Welcome to the July monthly link-up for the 2015 Book Blog Discussion Challenge hosted by Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction and Shannon @ It Starts at Midnight!
Well, we made it through half the year, and we’re happy to see that the discussions are still going strong! This has been such a fun challenge! The winner of our May discussion challenge link-up was Katy @ Glorious Panic. She got to choose a book with a warm weather theme, and she chose Undertow by Michael Buckley (which takes place on a beach!). Congratulations, Katy!
If you don’t know what this challenge is all about or haven’t signed up yet (but want to), head on over to the challenge sign-up page to learn more! Even if you’d rather not join, we hope you’ll stop by occasionally to check out the MANY discussion posts that are being linked up here – there’s lots of great discussions going on!
You guys have been coming up with some great discussion ideas! But, if you’re coming up blank this month, try out one of these topics:
- Can there ever be such a thing as too much reading? Ever overwhelm yourself with books?
- Tell us about your last book high – the last time you were completely giddy over a book!
- What’s your blogging style? Lighthearted? Analytical? Frivolous? Super-Serious? Disorganized? Eclectic? If you had to give your style a name, what would it be?
Looking for more inspiration, or want to see some discussion posts as an example? Check out the discussion posts on Feed Your Fiction Addiction or It Starts at Midnight (click the links to be brought directly to our discussion posts).
As most of you probably know, I’ve been on vacation this month, so I’m feeling just a tad bit burned out and un-creative. So, there’s no theme to our giveaway this month. I’ll try and make up for it by having something extra-special in September (since Shannon takes care of August). This month, you can choose any book you want!! (Up to a $17 value – International, as long as The Book Depository ships to you).
Nothing wrong with any book at all, right?
Thanks to a fantastic suggestion by Elizabeth at Thoughts from an Evil Overlord (which was, in turn, inspired by a discussion on Lilybloombooks), I’ve added an entry on the Rafflecopter for sharing each others’ discussions via FB, Twitter, your blog or any other way you want! You can use this entry once per day (just please don’t enter with the same share instance more than once). Way to spread the discussion love!
Make sure to link up all of your July discussion posts here. This linky and the July giveaway will be open until August 7th (to give people a little extra time to link up – just in case you’re disorganized like we are. If, by some chance, you forget to link up a post this month, you can add it to next month’s linky (but no duplicates, please).
Go forth, and discuss!

I really need to do more discussion posts. I have ideas, but I tend to sit down and catch up on reviews when I have time to blog and all that. 🙂

Guys! I thought I hadn’t written a discussion in AGES, and I couldn’t remember where I left off, so I went through my discussions and added ones I’d forgotten about here, is that OK? R x
That’s totally fine! Glad you linked up!
