Sunday Post & Giveaways Galore 9/13/15

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.

Last week on FYFA (and in my life):

Busy week here in the Hewitt household. Our homeschool co-op is now underway, where I teach three classes – Acting, Musical Theatre (which is more of a kids’ choir with a play), and 5th/6th Grade Writing. Plus, I started in on an edit for Alyssa’s Redemption by Karly Morgan. My husband and I have also started binge watching The Walking Dead, and I am hooked!

Here’s what you may have missed last week:

Next week on FYFA:

  • What We Saw by Aaron Hartzler (review) – I was planning on reviewing this one last week, but then just had to review Truest, so I pushed this one back a week.
  • Tonight the Streets Are Ours by Leila Sales (review)
  • Undivided by Neal Shusterman – Because I promised myself I’d finish this series and so I put it in my calendar for next week! (Better get reading)
  • Let’s Discuss – something bookish  🙂

  1. Great discussion post this week- very thought provoking. As someone who reads a fair amount of YA books, I have to say that I’ve wondered some of those same things- so many different views on this but nice to see them aired respectfully.

The Body Institute looks good, I’ve been curious about it.

  2. Homeschooling sounds like a challenge but well done for taking it on.

I started watching The Walking Dead but stopped at season 3 and haven’t caught up since (and now don’t remember enough about seasons 1 & 2!)

  3. We’ve been incredibly busy in our abode with homeschool and swim lessons so to some degree, I can relate to your business! I love binge watching television series with my hubby too! We recently finished watching Gotham – which is SO good. Did you just start watching The Walking Dead from season 1 or are you gobbling up the latest season?
