The Top Ten Books on My Fall TBR
These are all books that I have for review that I’m REALLY excited about reading!
(Links go to Goodreads.)
1. The Knowing by Sharon Cameron
The Forgetting is an All-Time favorite of mine, so I’m super excited about this companion!
2. Dare Mighty Things by Heather Kaczynski
I was already really excited about this debut and then Shannon @ It Starts at Midnight told me she loved it. She’s my bookish twin, so I just know this book will be perfect for me.
3. Brooding YA Hero: Becoming a Main Character (Almost) as Awesome as Me by Carrie DiRisio
I’ve actually already started this one, so this is cheating a bit, but I’m LOVING it, just as I suspected. If you don’t follow @BroodingYAHero on Twitter, you must!
4. All the Crooked Saints by Maggie Stiefvater
I finally jumped on the Stiefvater bandwagon and listened to the Raven Boys series—and I’m definitely a fan! Can’t wait for her next book now!
5. Rosemarked by Livia Blackburne
My contact at Disney told me that this is one of her favorite reads of the year, so she got me even more excited to read it!
6. Whichwood by Tahereh Mafi
Once again, I adored the first book in this series, so I’ve been waiting impatiently to find the time to read this sequel (or companion, I guess).
7. Dear Martin by Nic Stone
I just know this is going to be one of those books that tears me apart.
8. The Afterlife of Holly Chase by Cynthia Hand
Cynthia Hand. Enough said.
9. Jane, Unlimited by Kristin Cashore
I know, I know, this one releases today so I should have already read it, but I’m behind. I have yet to read Cashore, and I’m ready to join the masses.
10. Warcross by Marie Lu
Another one I should have already read. People, I still haven’t read a Marie Lu book. What have I been doing with my life?
What books are on your Fall TBR? I want to know!
Dare Mighty Things is on my list as well. I still can’t believe I forgot Stiefvater’s book. But I think it is because I don’t have an ARC of it. Great list!
Check out my Top 10
Yeah, I stuck to books that I have an ARC of since those I will almost definitely read.
I feel the same way about most of these! I thought I was the only one looking forward to Holly Chase!
I’m surprised there isn’t more buzz about it!
Ooh nice picks! I really liked Warcross! Curious about Maggie’s new book! Her Raven Boys series didn’t really grab at me and I know she’s writing a spinoff to that one soon, so hoping to enjoy this one before then!
Here’s my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower 🙂
I listened to the Raven Boys Series via audiobook, which I think was a great way to go with that series. I find I have more patience for books that are a little slower that way. I love Stiefvater’s sort of literary style (which I actually wouldn’t expect myself to).
I need to get my hands on Warcross. I am hoping to read Wonder Woman and Spellbook for the Lost and Found soon.
Wonder Woman is really good—I need to write my review for that one soon. And I also want to read Spellbook!
We will have to compare notes after these! 🙂
Definitely!
Brooding made my TTT too. It’s totally my kind of book. Warcross, Whichwood, and Afterlife of Holly Chase are definites for me as well.
I’m really loving it, but I knew I would based on the Twitter feed.
Looks like you’ve got some great reading coming up! 🙂
I do! Thanks for stopping by!
Great list! I forgot to add Brooding to my list and I hadn’t heard of Rosemarked (but now it is on my TBR)
Haha! Glad I could help you expand your TBR! 🙂
I’m definitely looking forward to Brooding YA Hero. That one is just going to be a barrel of laughs. 🙂
I’m loving it!!
I’m also excited for the Brooding YA Hero book. I love that Twitter account so much. I hope you get a chance to read all these!
I’m absolutely loving it! It’s pretty much exactly what you’d expect based on the Twitter feed.
Your list looks interesting, might have to check some of it out.

Hope I helped you find some new books!
Ooh, I forgot to put Stiefvater’s and Cashore’s books on my list. Brooding YA Hero should be a delight as well, and Dear Martin–yeah, what you said. I actually got approved for my first ARCs on Edelweiss, and now I can’t figure out how to download them. #techfail
On your dashboard (Home page), you should see a little green book image underneath the cover. If you click on it, you should be brought to the screen to download, I believe. If that doesn’t work, let me know and I’ll see if I can help you figure it out!
I saw your graphic and was just about to stroll down here to say “Read Dare Mighty Things!” when you beat me to it 😀 Val just finished it and liked it a lot too- plus we HAVE to talk about the ending!
Otherwise, our lists are VERY similar! (Like- even the ones I didn’t put on my TTT are ones I need to get to- like Dear Martin, All the Crooked Saints, Jane Unlimited.) I read The Afterlife of Holly Chase too- it was… I don’t know. It wasn’t bad. It was a little long? But still cute? I look forward to your thoughts for sure!
Okay, Dare Mighty Things will be my next read (I’m finishing up Invictus now). It sounds like we’ll have lots to talk about…
Maggie Stiefvater has a new one?! I am excited!
YES! I’m excited too!
I’ve been trying to read Maggie’s books for years! Something about her style throws me off. But I’m so curious about All the Crooked Saints because of all the controversy around it! Can’t wait for your review!
I’ve apparently been living under a rock and have missed the controversy. That’s okay—I think I like it better that way.
Glad to know I’m not the only one that’s yet to read a Marie Lu book. I think out of all her books, Warcross is the one that appeals to me most so hopefully I get a chance to read it soon.
I really WANT to read Marie Lu, but somehow I always put it off. I have no idea why.
I saw that The Knowing was coming out and immediately thought of you! I know you loved The Forgetting. I hope we both get a chance to read the sequel Great list!
I just finished The Knowing this morning and I am VERY pleased. 🙂
You aren’t alone, I still haven’t read a Marie Lu book either lol. Even though I’ve had them on my Kindle for-ev-er *hides face*. Maybe we’ll both get to her one of her books this year and love, fingers crossed!
I own so many of them. Seriously, what’s wrong with me? We need to plan a readalong or something. If you read one, I will!
