This past week on FYFA (and in my life):
Not too much to say about this week. I finished the edit I was working on (Orion by Raeah Wilding AKA Allie Juliette Mousseau)—this one’s an adult novel, which you’ll be able to tell if you click on the link and view the cover. LOL! And I taught classes and graded papers—didn’t have time for much else!

Yeah, I think they sent out a lot of them. They’re really fun!
That’s cool that you also get children’s books.
I don’t accept all that many review requests for kids’ books, but this one looks like something my daughter and I can read together.
That’s the best. My favorite books to read to my kids (they are 41, 38, and 33!) were the Roald Dahl books. I can’t remember what books we read together.
The books we can read together are the best. They really enjoy it when they can talk about them with me.

Yay! I’m glad you found a pre-order deal for a book you wanted to get! I’ll confess that I’m struggling with time lately. In fact, I just made the decision to take a break from editing for a while so I can focus on writing (and homeschooling, of course). Sometimes it’s hard to step away, but I think it will be worth it.
I got the Haven box too – which was such a fun surprise I don’t get a ton in the mail these days! Yay for getting some editing done. I hope you have a great week, and Happy Halloween!!
