Feed Your Fiction Addiction’s 6th Blogoversary Giveaway!

January 31, 2019 Birthday/Blogoversary, Giveaways (Ended) 100

That’s right, Feed Your Fiction Addiction is six years old today, and I feel like celebrating! This book blog has led to so many amazing things in my life, and I’d like to say thank you to all of you who have taken the journey with me.

In the past six years, I’ve posted:

Over 1508 total posts (I’ve deleted some, so it’s actually well over this number)

185 discussions

889 reviews (some of these were deleted when I changed my review policy)

Over 352 giveaways

35 author top ten lists (mostly authors’ top ten addictions)

281 Sunday Posts (which includes pre-order deals & giveaways from around the blogosphere)

70 Top Ten Tuesdays

69 monthly wrap-up posts

Also of Note:

  • I’ve co-hosted the Book Blog Discussion Challenge for the past four years with Shannon @ It Starts at Midnight.
  • And I’ve hosted the Monthly Wrap-Up Round-Up for three years.
  • I’ve posted a master list of Reading and Book Blogging Challenges for the past four years.
  • I’ve attended MANY bookish events, including BEA (twice), ALA, and RT, not to mention all the smaller events and signings I’ve had the privilege of attending.
  • I’ve gotten over 3700 Bloglovin’ followers and over 2600 Twitter followers.
  • I’ve failed at Instagram. (What? Just saying—it’s the truth.)
  • I’ve attended two SCBWI (Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators) conferences and one WIFYR (Writing & Illustrating for Young Readers) workshop conference.
  • I’ve edited and/or proofread over 30 books! (Though this year I took a break from editing so I can focus on writing.)
  • I’ve won NaNoWriMo twice.
    • I finished a “final(ish)” draft of the MG novel and started querying it.
    • I finished my first draft of the YA novel
  • I’ve met TONS of amazing people, including YOU!!

To celebrate my blogoversary, I’ve decided to do two giveaways, one here on the blog and one on Twitter. In both cases, I’m giving one of you, my loyal readers, your choice of ANY BOOK YOU WANT (up to a $20 value). Both giveaways are open internationally as long as TBD delivers to you.

HAPPY BLOGOVERSARY!!! Congrats on the 6 years!! That’s awesome!!! Pretty sure I’ve been following you for that long too! I was just celebrating my own blogoversary and asking people how they found my blog, if they remembered, a lot couldn’t! And when I think on it…I can’t remember how I followed everyone either! It had to start at one blog and then seeing their blog roll on the side and other rec’s coming in like that! One leads to another and then another and then three others and then it’s just good crazy chaos!

Congratulations on six years! I really enjoy your blog, especially that you feature both middle-grade and YA titles, since I’m interested in reading a little of everything.

Actually, it’s funny but I prefer blogiversary too now since it matches anniversary better. But for some reason when I started out, I saw blogoversary and that’s what I used. I considered changing it, but I have lots of graphics and posts and calendars (with other bloggers’ special days), and it would be a real pain to change everything. So now I’m stuck with it. LOL!
