Sunday Post: Book Pre-order Campaigns & Giveaways Galore – 12/15/19

December 15, 2019 Sunday Post 25

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.

This past week on FYFA (and in my life):

Not much to say this week, which is probably a good thing (no disasters, for once).  🙂 But one bit of good news is that my oldest officially got into the college she wants to attend (with the merit scholarship we were expecting plus a little extra)! We weren’t surprised with her acceptance, but it’s still nice to have it all official and on paper. Now we start figuring out all the details, like meal plans and housing. She’ll be transferring in as a junior because she has so many credits from our local community college, so she’s way ahead of the game as far as that’s concerned!

Oh, and we celebrated Christmas with extended family yesterday (which is why this post is up late again—since I taught in the K-2 room at church this morning as well—always lots of catching up to do!).

Also, I wanted to mention: Most years I do a list of ALL the reading and blogging challenges I can find, but this year I just don’t have time. BUT I want to point you all to two great resources (bloggers who’ve created very similar lists):

Here’s what you may have missed on the blog since my last Sunday Post:

Book Blogger Birthdays and Blogoversaries:

Birthday-150 Blogoversary-150x150

Here are the birthdays and blogoversaries for this week! I hope you’ll go wish these bloggers well on their special days! Make sure you check out the calendar to see what you might have just missed or what’s coming up. (If you want to be added to the calendar, it’s easy! Just fill out the birthday/blogoversary form.)

Book Haul:

For Review:

More to the Story is a Little Women retelling by Mena Khan, and it sounds so very wonderful! This gorgeous cover was illustrated by Abigail Dela Cruz! Thanks to Salaam Reads for the review copy!

I won these twin books from NovelKnight and Disney Hyperion!! The Fowl Twins is the first in Eoin Colfer’s new series. This awesome cover was created by Tyler Nevins! The backpacks are super nice and roomy too. One of the books has already made its way to Bernie’s Book Bank, and I’m super excited for it to get delivered to a kid in need!

Great Discussions/Goings On Around the Blogosphere:

Whoo hoo! Congratulations to your daughter. Admission AND a scholarship. *applause, applause* That’s a cool prize you won. I love a good backpack.

Congrats to your oldest! I just got off the phone with my oldest working out scholarship and tuition stuff. Fun, fun. He’s currently in community college and will be transferring in a year to university to complete his degree. So we’re not far behind y’all.

But it was something similar to the little Dutch Boy sticking his finger inside dyke to prevent the
leak. So, the exam for the Buffalos will come inside the months ahead once we learn if
investors make second and third orders for Buffalos.

But unlike that regarding the mutual fund an investment club does not need its members to pay management fees.

However, home investor would excel to bear in mind to get the advice of a professional property investor before committing significant funds to the investment.
There would be no cumbersome application procedures and so many companies still
find it comfortable to have financing commercial vehicle.
This is often a mistake that retirees make and
so they end up outliving their income.

I would be remiss because your tax and financial professional if I didn’t supply you
with the value of my own and professional experience and
perspective during periods like these. Future Markets: This kind of financial market closely resembles Forward
Markets, using the difference that with this market, the
high quality as well as the quantity of the goods that are traded are specified about the date the transaction is
applied for, the transaction shall be effected on some future date.

A particular pattern that is often seen in stock trading game analysis is recognized
    as the Cup and Handle.
