The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news ~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.

This past week on FYFA (and in my life):

Not much to say. I won’t bother complaining about the same things I’ve been talking about for weeks. Let’s move on to a more pleasant topic…

  • Lots of work! We’ve been crazy busy at Barnes & Noble (no surprise), so work has been hectic. I don’t mind at all, though. I just like being surrounded by books!

What I Read This Week:

  • I read School Trip by Jerry Craft.
  • I continued listening to Little Thieves by Margaret Owen. (Though I didn’t listen much this week.)

What I Watched:

  • I started watching Wednesday. Only one episode in, but I’m liking it so far!

Here’s what you may have missed on the blog since my last Sunday Post:

Book Blogger Birthdays and Blogoversaries:

Book Haul:

From NetGalley:

I recently got some NetGalley reads that I haven’t told you about yet. Thank you publishers! I received Monsterious: The Snatcher of Raven Hollow by Matt McMann, School Trip by Jerry Craft, The Stranded by Sarah Daniels, and Mirror to Mirror by Rajani LaRocca.

From Publisher’s Weekly’s Grab-a-Galley Giveaway:

Publisher’s Weekly did a spring Grab-a-Galley giveaway recently. I got one physical copy that I’ll put in next week’s post (since I didn’t have time to take a pic), but I also received a few digital galleys: Glitterpony Farm by Tina Connoly, The Love Report by BéKa and illustrated by Maya, and Momo Arashima Steals the Sword of the Wind by Misa Sugiura.

  1. Ah, this was the one time of year I hated working at the bookstore. It was so crazy! But I do miss it a little I guess. I went into my old store last week and they had tons of boxes that needed to be unpacked and put out just sitting out in the main store. We were never allowed to do that when I worked there. But I guess things have changed with the new owner and the lack of help a lot of times. I also got a copy of The Stranded and I plan to read it this coming week! Have a great Christmas! Are we still waiting on some news from you? Or do I need to go search and see if I missed a posted update?
