The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news ~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.
This past week on FYFA (and in my life):
Another two weeks since my Sunday Post, this time because we’ve been planning both my mother-in-law’s celebration of life service and a vacation to Spain (a weird combination, I know). We’re going to be traveling back to Arizona for the celebration of life next week–the trip to Spain won’t happen until this summer at the end of my younger daughter’s study abroad, but we needed to get things booked for it, especially for her trip because she leaves in May. Other than that, it’s just been work as usual.
What I Read This Week:
- I read The Guardian Test by Christina Soontornvat, Answers in the Pages by David Levithan, They Called Us Enemy by George Takei, and Good Different by Meg Eden Kuyatt.
- I listened to The Last Mapmaker by Christina Soontornvat.
- Loved every one of them!
What I Watched:
- I kept hearing so many good things about The Last of Us—I had to jump back in and keep watching. Yes, episode 3 is just as incredible as everyone has been saying. If you haven’t watched this show (and you can handle zombies), you need to!
Here’s what you may have missed on the blog since my last Sunday Post:
- FEBRUARY 2023 MONTHLY WRAP-UP ROUND-UP LINK-UP AND GIVEAWAY
- MARCH 2023 DISCUSSION CHALLENGE LINK-UP & GIVEAWAY!

Lots of good stuff! Have any news? Feel free to share in the comments!
Safe travels, and I hope all goes well with the celebration of life and plans for Spain. Is your daughter doing a summer abroad or a full semester? Sounds like a great experience.
She’s doing a summer abroad in Madrid. She’s decided to go ahead and make her Spanish minor into a double major since she really loves the language!
Ooh, Spain sounds fun! Sorry to hear about your mother-in-law. We did a celebration of life instead of a funeral for my step-grandmother last August. Hope you have a good week!
Nice! A trip to Spain sounds awesome! I’m itching to go somewhere myself. My summer author trip was just canceled sadly, though I am interested to see what Anderson’s will have for this new summer event I just heard about this week! No authors announced yet, but tickets are on sale already! It would work out kind of nice if there’s a good lineup as it ends right when I would travel up to my aunt’s in Wisconsin for their summer festival that I enjoy going to! So I’m basically waiting on pins a needles for some updates on the event! Lol!
Hope this week turns out to be nice for you as well! Happy Reading!
Here’s my StS
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower 🙂
I went to Anderson’s Children’s Literature Breakfast recently, and they talked about the summer event. Anderson’s always has great events!
I hope your travels go smoothly.

I hope your travels go smoothly. I’ve only traveled to Barcelona a few years back, but I enjoyed Spain very much and i hope you do too
Another friend of mine is going to Spain too. I hope you have a good trip. Glad you’ve been reading a lot.
A trip to Spain sounds quite lovely. And I hope your daughter has fun studying abroad too. I could really use a vacation these days. LOL
Thank you so much! Can’t believe I’m celebrating my eighth year of blogging!
