Great Discussions/Goings On Around the Blogosphere:
I actually totally caught up with May’s discussions AND I’m caught up with June (that’s what happens when I don’t have any editing projects I’m currently working on!) Here are a couple of my favorites that I’ve read recently:
- ebookclassics talks about Being Social Media Challenged.
- Tonyalee over at Lilybloombooks writes about how she sometimes feels like she has trouble Fitting In.
Heidi over at YA Bibliophile lets us know how we can vote for which deleted scene should be included in the collector’s edition of Allegiant!
Jaime over at Fiction Fare gives us the latest Pre-Order Deals. I didn’t realize so many authors did special deals like these!
Other Current Giveaways on FYFA:
(Besides the ones listed above)
- Nowhere but Here by Katie McGarry (excerpt & giveaway) – Still time to enter to win a signed copy and a t-shirt
- Burn by Allie Juliette Mousseau (giveaway & reviewish type thing) – Still time to enter to win a signed copy of both Dare and Burn (and there’s also an opportunity to get Burn swag)!
Even More Awesome Giveaways on Other Sites:
Lots of great giveaways this week!!
- Candace’s Book Blog and Pure Imagination have a weekly post called Saturday Situation, where people can link up their giveaways and reviews that need some more love. There are hundreds of posts listed there, so you should definitely check it out!
- Kritika over at Snowflakes and Spider Silk is doing a read-along of The Gentleman Bastard series (AKA Lies of Locke Lomora) and is giving away a pre-order of the fourth book in the series.
- Book Swoon is giving away five copies of The Singular & Extraordinary Tale of Mirror & Goliath by Ishbelle Bee.
- Nick from Nick’s Book Blog is giving away an underrated YA book for her Quiet YA Books event!
- Dark Faerie Tales is giving away two books featured in their Who Needs a Hero event!
- Enter to win the Complete Scarlet series by A.C. Gaughen over at My Guilty Obsession
- Enter to win a $50 gift card from the tour for Rachel’s Deception by Karen Ann Hopkins over at Literary Meanderings!
- Enter to win a $50 gift card from the tour for A Taylor-Made Life over at Tome Tender.k!

Your review is what made me pick it up. I just finished it last night and I did totally love it!
Looks like you had an awesome week all around^^ Sweet book haul! Seeing The Night Circus there reminded me that I STILL need to read that one XD I hope you enjoy all your goodies Nicole! Have an great week 🙂 xx
I’ve been meaning to read it forever, so I stuck it on my Paperbackswap list – figured if it was sitting on my shelf, I’d be more likely to get to it someday. 🙂
I want to read The Night Circus too! I was thinking about getting it on audiobook next 🙂
You’ll have to let me know what you think!
I enjoyed The Night We Said Yes and hope you do as well. Quiet weeks are good, enjoy!
I actually already finished it last night and really enjoyed it!
Awesome!
Enjoy your trip! You have a lot of great books and I love your blog design! Have a great week.
Thanks, Cindy!! The blog design actually might be changing soon (well, soon is a relative term). I love it, but I’m going for something more bookish. 🙂
I just started reading The Book of Speculation and it seems everyone of goodreads compared it to Night Circus. Thanks for showing me what the book looked like. I hope you enjoy your new books and thanks again for all the links.
I hadn’t heard of The Book of Speculation. I’ll have to check that one out!
My blog was a bit quieter this week. I did less reviews. And my life was uneventful. That’s always a good thing. LOL I hope you enjoy Night Circus!
Yeah, sometimes uneventful is perfect!
Thanks for sharing all the other posts- need to check out those pre-order deals!
Yeah, I never realized that there were so many pre-order deals out there!
Oh I seriously want to read Night Circus! I hear it’s either a book you love or hate though?! BUT I STILL WANT TO TRY IT. XD Nice that you had a calm week! We’ve got a family reunion coming up so…um, yeah. Not calm. >_> But hopefully we’ll survive.! XD
Thanks for stopping by @ Paper Fury!
That’s why Paperbackswap is perfect. I now own the book, but I didn’t “buy” it so I don’t really feel any pressure to immediately read it. (Do you have anything like this in Australia?)
I really enjoyed The Night Circus! Have fun in Colorado (I really enjoyed that as well 🙂 )!
Can’t wait for the trip – yay for hiking!
I like be The Night Circus. I’ve read it AND listened to the audiobook. amazing. Have a great week, Nicole.

Second Run Reviews
That’s high praise! I definitely need to pick it up sooner rather than later.
I started Night Circus, but I just couldn’t get into it. The writing was good, but I couldn’t get into the plot.
I’m nervous about it, but so many people have raved that I figured I should give it a try.
