That’s right, I’m a year older and my blog is too! This makes four years for the blog. More than that for the rest of me. π
In the past four years, I’ve posted:
- 1205 total posts
- 120 discussions
- 549 reviews (that’s the number of posts, not actually the number of books reviewed)
- 237 giveaways
- 19 author top ten lists (mostly authors’ top ten addictions—and you can see my top ten addictions HERE)
- 186 Sunday Posts (& Giveaways Galore!)
- 53 Top Ten Tuesdays
A few other accomplishments:
- I’ve redesigned my blog. (If you want to see the old design, check out my blogoversary post from last year.)
- I started celebrating blogger birthdays and blogoversaries!
- I’ve co-hosted the Book Blog Discussion Challenge for the past two years with Shannon @ It Starts at Midnight. (This is probably my favorite part of blogging!!)
- And the Monthly Wrap-Up Round-Up for just over a year.
Blogging has become such a huge part of my existence, it’s hard to even remember life five years ago. I’ve made so many incredible friends here, some I’ve met in person and some who I “only” know online—you guys are fantastic, and you’ve given me so much support and love. I’m so thankful for the blogging community!!
To celebrate my birthday and blogoversary, I’ve decided to give one of my loyal readers their choice of any book I’ve reviewed in the past four years (up to a $17 value). There are lots of fantastic books to choose from! This giveaway is open internationally as long as TBD delivers to you.

Happy, happy, happy birthday AND blogoversary! You are such a bright light in the book blogging world.
I might want Holding Up the Universe, because I loved her first book but haven’t read this one yet.
Thanks so much, Wendy! Holding Up the Universe was fantastic, so that would be a great pick! π
Happy birthday and blogoversary!!! Four years blogging and still going strong, that’s awesome π And I’m glad because I love visiting your blog!
I have no clue what book I would want, I’ll worry about that decision later if I happen to win lol.
Thanks! Four years has flown by!
Happy Blogiversary! February is my blogiversary month too and it’s such an exciting time! Here’s to many more years of blogging!
Hey! Happy blogoversary to you too!
Happy birthday (and blogoversary too)!!! Hope you have a great one. Awesome accomplishments and thanks for hosting the discussion challenge too.
I don’t know what I’d pick but maybe Pivot Point since I never did get to that. π
Thanks, Greg! The Discussion Challenge is near and dear to my heart, obviously, so I’m glad that other people love it too.
Happy Birthday!!! Yay to four years blogging. That is awesome. You have done so much in those four years!
Thanks, Grace! Four years has flown by!
Happy birthday and happy blogoversary!
Thanks, Freda!!
Happy double day of joy! I’m so thankful you are here and doing all that you do. You make the world brighter for the rest of us.
That is so sweet. Thanks so much, Lory!!
Happy birthday and blogoversary. My little blog is 3 this year and I am still uncertain how I’ve managed it so getting to 4 is an achievement. I agree how crazy how big a role blogging now plays in my life. I have 3 email accounts and my blogging one is definitely the one which makes me happiest. It’s so nice to see those emails about blogging and have that list of books to read and have those people you can flail about books with.
I wish I knew which book I would pick but there are so many. I did see Firsts on there and that is a book I’ve said I’ve wanted to read for a while but with me nobody knows.
It’s crazy that blogging can have such a huge impact on your life, right?
Happy birthday/blogiversary! I love your discussion challenge and Wrap-Up Round-Up. I always look forward to clicking those links. Youβve posted a lot in 4 years. Iβve had my blog since 2013, and I just hit 600 posts.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who loves them! π
Aw, Happy Birthday and Happy Blogoversary!! Here’s hoping you had a wonderful time celebrating your special day, and that you had a yummy cake! And cheers to many more years of fabulous blogging!
Thanks so much! I did indeed have yummy cake. π
Thanks for the giveaway and Happy Blogoversary!!! Cheers to more years! I would choose Long Way Home by Katie McGarry. π
Thanks so much, Cali! Good luck in the giveaway! Long Way Home is amazing!
happy blogoversary!!!! thank you for the chance. I haven’t decided what to pick yet. I just dont want to put my hopes that high though. π
Well, good luck!! Hope you get to choose. LOL!
Happy Birthday, and Blogoversary!! Wishing you all the best next year, I hope you are able to read out to more people and achieve your goals.
Also Happy Valentines Day.
Thanks so much, Aneta!!
How did I miss this post? I’m subscribed by email. Happy birthday! I’m so mad I didn’t see this on the day! And happy blogoversary! I’m so glad I got to know you better this last year through the OTSP Secret Sisters. And I can’t wait to keep following you this year!
I posted it late in the day and then posted my Sunday Post in the morning, so it wouldn’t have show up at the top of the email. I wasn’t really thinking about that, I guess. Um, oops!
I’m really glad that I met you through OTSPSS too. It was a fun six months, but I’m glad we’ve stayed friends since then!
Happy birthday and blogoversary, Nicole! <3 Your blog is every bit as awesome as you are, and I look forward to many more years of you being a part of the book blogging community. I had a hard time picking out which book I'd like – there are so many to choose from! I think I'd love Nora and Kettle though. It's been on my wish list forever.
Thanks, Cilla. I love my blog and all the bloggers I’ve met through it!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, my dear! And happy blogoversary, too! 4 years is SO impressive, seriously! Especially with all the other stuff you do, I seriously am in awe of you on the regular. I hope that you have many, many more years of happy blogging and reading ahead of you! I am so glad that blogging introduced us, too! β₯β₯
Aw, thanks, Shannon. I’m especially thankful for you, my friend!
P.S. I feel kind of horrible that I said I’ve “hosted the Book Blog Discussion Challenge” instead of saying I co-host the challenge with you. Um, that issue has been amended because I certainly couldn’t do it without you!!! (I can only plead insanity and tiredness since I was writing this post at like 10 PM on my birthday trying to get it up before the day was actually over.)
Happy birthday and happy 4-year blogoversary, Nicole!! I also love the Discussion Challenge! So thank you for co-hosting that with Shannon!
The Book Blog Discussion Challenge has been a highlight of my blogging life and I’m so lucky to be working with Shannon on it!!
Happy birthday, Nicole! And happy blogoversary! Four years is amazing! As for which book I would choose… wow, that’s hard. Maybe Return Once More? Thanks for the giveaway and congrats again on 4 years (and your birthday!). I’m so glad I discovered your blog! π
Thanks so much, Tanya! I loved Return Once More (I really need to read the sequel!).
Happy Birthday and Happy Blogoversay! Four years is jusssst. I can only wish I’ll reach a yearin blogging. If i won I’d choose P.S I like you cause I’m a big Kasie West fan and I still haven’t read it.
I remember when I started out, I couldn’t imagine four years of blogging—it seemed like some sort of crazy dream! π
YAY Nicole! Happy Blogoversary!!! Four years! that’s fantastic! Wow the stats are very impressive! 1205 posts and 120 discussions!!! Holy cow that’s a lot of ideas! good for you! I still remember your header with the bird! One of my favorite headers when I started blogging. So is the new one π So glad to hear we have made your blogging experience a happy one π I LOVE your blog so I hope you blog for many more years!
Lately I’ve been feeling a little sucked dry of discussion ideas, and I guess I can see why when I realize I’ve written 120 of them! That’s not so bad, right? π Thanks so much for the words of encouragement!
Happiest of Birthdays and Blogoversaries to you my friend! I’m still so grateful that we got to meet at BEA and become blogger friends β₯
Thanks so much, Micheline! The feeling is definitely mutual!
Happy birthday and congratulations on your 4th blogversary. Not sure what I would choose but probably a favourite I don’t own a copy of.
