Last week on FYFA (and in my life):
First of all, Happy Easter to all of you who celebrate the holiday!!
This week I got a new editing project, so I’ll be a bit busier for a little while and might not have as much time to roam the blogosphere—I promise I’ll be back as soon as I can, though! Yesterday our family went to Six Flags Great America for the first time of the season. It was an absolutely gorgeous day! We have season’s passes, so we’ll probably be there a lot this summer!

Happy Easter! I’m glad you had fun at Six Flags.
Thanks, AJ!
Ooh, your lists are awesome 🙂 thanks for sharing! Happy Easter and have a great reading week 🙂
Glad you find them helpful! I love sharing ALL the news on Sunday!
OOh nice! I haven’t been to Six Flags in years! Sadly, our park when I was last there, was always in need of so much repair. Not even with big things, but just like a fresh coat of paint for the Log Flume. It seems they always wanted to skip over the little things and just build new rides. I did always have fun there though!
Nice new reads! Love when a surprise book comes in the mail all wrapped up like and whatnot! Hope you enjoy the new reads!
Here’s my STS
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower 🙂
I think our passes will get us into your Six Flags as well, but I’ve never been there. We keep saying that maybe one of these days …
(I actually just accidentally posted that reply on someone else’s comment—people probably think I’m going batty at this point. They wouldn’t be wrong.)
Well, when I last held a Six Flags season pass way too many years ago you basically have access to all the Six Flags! So if that’s still true, you can! I think we only ever went to one other Six Flags and it was up in New York when we visited relatives. 🙂
Yes—I just looked into it to see if maybe we could swing down that way on our trip to Colorado. It looks like it just might work! (Though I’m not sure if we’re bringing the dogs on the trip—that might complicate things.)
Thanks for sharing about the Hunger Games giveaway! That’s awesome you were able to get to Six Flags already. I have passes for an amusement park where I live and we tried to go Friday night but it was INSANE so we weren’t there long. Obviously we’ll be back though, as the passes are for the whole season. 🙂

Um, oops! I meant to reply to Jessica @ a GREAT read’s comment with that one—I have no idea where your amusement park is, but I’m sure it’s awesome. LOL!
Happy Easter! Six Flags sounds great. 🙂 It’s nice that good weather is finally here. And I’ll watch for your thoughts on Defy The Stars since I’m mulling that one.
Taken has a really nice cover.
No more mulling—pick it up! 🙂
Happy Easter! You have awesome lists. Thanks for sharing. I hope you enjoy all the books you’re currently reading and will be reading this week. I’ll check out the blogaversaries. Thanks for listing them. Have a great week. ?
Glad you enjoy my lists! I like to spread the word about lots of blogger awesomeness on Sunday. 🙂
Wonderful lists this week. I remember Six Flags. Been a long time. Happy Easter and have fun. I’m looking forward to what’s in your review box.
My Sunday Post
We love amusement parks! It’s nice that the kids are old enough to truly enjoy them nowadays. My son just got tall enough to ride everything.
I’m intrigued by that little fun club box, don’t think I’ve heard of those before. I’ll have to check back and see what it was! Hope you have a great week!
Check out my Sunday post
I hadn’t heard of it either—check back on Thursday to see what I got! 🙂
woah so exciting and I did not know that if you pre-order stuff you can get like little stuff in exchange, that is awesome. Hope you had a great weekend, it sounds like you been staying busy 🙂
Yes, LOTS of authors and publishers put together pre-order deals! I try to hunt down as many as possible and let everyone know about them. 🙂
Six Flags sounds like so much fun! I haven’t been to an amusement part in AGES! Good luck with the editing gig; hope that goes well for you 🙂
Thanks so much for linking to my post!

It’s really fun to go now that the kids are all old enough to ride everything!
Good luck on your editing project!
Thanks, Charlie! I finally got the first edit finished and I have a bit more breathing room!
It sounds like you had a nice weekend. Good luck with your editing project. I hope it goes well! I love the idea of the Little Fun Club. What a neat idea! I’d have to give up my subscription box to do that one though, and I don’t know if I’m willing. Haha.
I hope you are enjoying your week, Nicole!
I haven’t tried any subscription boxes yet, but this seemed like a cute and fun opportunity to try one!
Glad to hear you had a good time at six flags yay for your new editing project! Have fun! [We’ll miss you] I’m going to check Molly’s tips now. Bookstagraming is my new obsession. 😀
Ooh! I’ll have to go check out your Instagram feed!
