Sunday Post: Book Pre-Order Campaigns & Giveaways Galore – 3/10/19

Posted March 10, 2019 by Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction in Sunday Post / 48 Comments

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.

This past week on FYFA (and in my life):

Nothing new to say this week. I’ve still been working on organizing my MG bookshelf, but I don’t have a new pic yet. Spent lots of time at track meets this past week. And on doing homework with the kiddos. It’s been rainy here, but I’ll take that over snow!!

Here’s what you may have missed on the blog since my last Sunday Post:

Always lots of posts at the end/beginning of the month!

Book Blogger Birthdays and Blogoversaries:

Birthday-150 Blogoversary-150x150

Here are the birthdays and blogoversaries for this week! I hope you’ll go wish these bloggers well on their special days! Make sure you check out the calendar to see what you might have just missed or what’s coming up. (If you want to be added to the calendar, it’s easy! Just fill out the birthday/blogoversary form.)

Book Haul:

For Review:

I’ve been really looking forward to Midsummer Mayhem, a middle grade Midsummer Night’s Dream retelling with baking (Yum!). I’ve talked to the author some on Twitter, and she offered me a review copy, which I definitely was not going to turn down.

I also received The Everlasting Rose for the tour (a little too late to post my review on my tour spot, but it will be coming soon!) and The Silence Between Us came in the mail as well. This one is an #OwnVoices Deaf story, which is pretty rare, so I’m excited to read it.

Great Discussions/Goings On Around the Blogosphere:

  • Nicole @ Thoughts Stained with Ink talks about her fears about her writing, and I can completely relate to this. She also quotes a bit of Chuck Wendig’s post on self-rejection, which anyone who writes should read because it is SO spot-on and inspiring!
  • Kat @ Novels & Waffles opened up a new (web) design shop called Waffley Cute Designs. It looks adorable and very reasonably priced. I’m considering having her do a couple of little things for me (maybe a signature and some post dividers? Possibly social media icons? Hmmm…).

Pre-order Campaigns

Listed in order of release date. Any new deals that I just added to the list this week will be denoted with a *** so you can easily find them!

Please note: Almost all pre-order giveaways run “while supplies last,” so I can’t guarantee that they’ll be open until the date listed. Pre-0rder early for your best chance to get all the goodies!

More Awesome Giveaways:

Lots of good stuff! Have any giveaways or great discussions happening on your site right now? Feel free to share them in the comments!Sund

  1. I’ll take rain over snow as well, anytime! Is it spring yet? I feel like since we’re springing ahead that the weather should just cooperate and warm up now. 🙂

    Happy reading this week!

  2. I also received The Everlasting Rose soon, but haven’t had a chance to read it. I hope you enjoyed it! Thank you so much for sharing the pre-order incentives! I found one I forgot to enter!

  3. I got the Silence Between Us this week as well. Looking forward to that one. I’ve been sick the past week, really messed up what was supposed to be my own little writing retreat this weekend. I spent the weekend out of town trying to feel better. Hope you have a good week coming up, wish we had nice enough weather for track meets. But soon! It’s starting to get there.

  4. We finally got sun this week, except today (Friday) but both the weekend and the upcoming week are also supposed to be sun. I hope you will have great reads and a sunny week ahead!

I linked to my Series on Saturday (monthly) giveaway which ends Sunday at midnight. It is all about assassins this month.

  5. Good luck organizing your MG bookshelf. Midsummer’s Mayhem looks cute and I like the sound of how it has baking. Thanks for listing all those giveaways!

  6. Awww, thank you so much for sharing my post, Nicole! I’m so glad it resonated with you (well, not that you have fears and struggle with writing, at times, but that it pointed you to the gloriousness that is Chuck Wendig and his blog). And if you ever need a cheerleader in your corner to help pick you up when writing isn’t going so great, you know where to find me. 🙂
