The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news ~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.
What’s been happening since my last Sunday Post:
I’m writing this post from Cincinnati because we just moved Danielle into her new apartment there for her year-long internship. She loves the new space, and her roommates seem really nice. We also enjoyed checking out the city a bit, and I’m sure I’ll be seeing even more of it in the future!
What I Read:

- I listened to Sadie by Courtney Summers. This was one of the many books on my shelf that I found when I did my purge. I’d heard amazing things about this book, and the audiobook version was really interesting because of the podcast aspect (and it’s a full cast version).
- I read Octopus Moon by Bobbie Pyron, a wonderfully lyrical middle grade verse novel about a girl with depression.
- Then read Troubling Tonsils by Aaron Reynolds, a super fun spooky chapter book follow-up to the Jasper Rabbit picture books!
- Finally, I listened to The House at the Edge of Magic by Amy Sparkes, a fun magical adventure story!
Here’s what you may have missed on the blog since my last Sunday Post:
- #IMWAYR & #MMGM: Bite-Sized Reviews of Lu and Ren’s Guide to GeoZoology, A Game of Noctis, Sona and the Golden Beasts, Olivetti
- June 2025 Monthly Round-Up Link-Up
- July 2025 Discussion Challenge Link-Up & Giveaway!

Hope you have a great week ahead!
Here’s my StS
Have a GREAT day!

Great to hear your daughter’s move went well. We were in Cincy years ago for a concert. There were a ton of cars but no people which seemed strange to me as I am a native New Yorker (people everywhere, all the time!).
I hope your daughter will have fun with her internship! And I lved Sadie!
Sounds like things are going well. Have a good week.

Cincinnati is a fun place. I interviewed there with P & G, and also we went to the zoo. They have a great zoo. I hope Danielle enjoys her year there.

Oh, I loved Sadie but I read it some time ago and on print. It sounds like it would be a cool experience to reread on audio though! Also, I did the monthly wrap up but forgot to link up! I have been so disorganized lately but I’m trying to get back on track. Hope you have a wonderful week ahead!
Oh my goodness, Cincinnati! I hope Danielle has an amazing experience there! I read Sadie, though I remember feeling a wee bit frustrated but mostly liking it? But then, I can barely remember what I ate for breakfast so who knows heh.
