Sunday Post & Giveaways Galore 3/1/15

Posted March 1, 2015 by Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction in Sunday Post / 30 Comments

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.

Last week on FYFA (and in my life):

Well, my daughter got the flu this week, but she wasn’t quite as miserable as my son was last week. I set her up with an audiobook (the second Ever After High book) to help her pass the time – and I actually ended up getting a lot of reading done while sitting with her. Luckily, she seems to be feeling a bit better now!

Here’s what you may have missed this past week:

Next week on FYFA:

  • When Joss Met Matt by Ellie Cahill (review & giveaway)
  • February Wrap-Up
  • Descent by L.A. Starkey (feature & giveaway)
  • All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven (review)
  • Let’s Discuss – Based on a True Story
Book-Haul

Purchased:

Beautiful Salvation The Book of Ivy

Great Discussions/Goings On Around the Blogosphere:

  • Don’t miss out on the fun discussions happening on the 2015 Book Blog Discussion Challenge! Make sure you check them all out! Here are just a few of my recent favorites:
    • Renae over at Respiring Thoughts writes an AntiValentine (yeah, I know, I’m late with this one, but it was so much fun I had to point it out anyway).
    • Mishma at Chasing Faerytales asks What type of a reader are you?
    • Jackie at Jackiesbookshenanigans talks about why she buys print books (even though she can’t read them) in her post: Why I buy books.
    • Shannon over at It Starts at Midnight gives us the results of the second part of her poll in Results Part Two: ARCs and Competition.

Other Current Giveaways on FYFA:

(Besides the ones listed above)

Even More Awesome Giveaways on Other Sites:

  • Danielle over at Love at First Page is giving away a whole box of ARCs!
  • That’s all I’ve got this week! If you’re hosting a giveaway, feel free to leave it in the comments and I’ll add it to my list.

Lots of good stuff! Have any giveaways or great discussions happening on your site right now? Feel free to share them in the comments!

  1. Yea, I just lost about 20 mins checking out your links in this post. I loved The Book of Ivy, I hope you do too. I am glad your daughter is feeling better. It sucks when kids are sick. Have a great week!

This has been a tough winter for lots of folks, between weather and falling sick. 🙁 Glad everyone in your house if feeling better. Thanks for putting this post together, lots of good info and so organized! I love that. 😉

  3. Ah! Hope everyone is feeling better! Usually in our house, once one of us is sick, it passes to everyone! That’s definitely when I hole up in my room and don’t come out unless I’m armed with Lysol! LOL!

Bookwise…Nice! Those two are new to me, but I think I’ve seen the Book of Ivy around! Hope you enjoy them both!

  4. That’s sad your daughter was sick, but I am glad she’s feeling a bit better and yay for getting some reading done! I’ll have to check out some of last months discussion posts soon!

    • Sorry you were sick! It seems like I’m coming down with it now too, but so far my case has been a lot milder than the kids’ – hopefully it stays that way!

  5. I’m looking forward to your All the Bright Places review! Honestly I just bought it because I’m so excited to read it, but I get scared with those books that everyone loves, because what if I don’t? These Sunday Posts links are a serious issue, I start just meaning to comment on this one single post and then before I know it there’s a million tabs on my window.
Glad your daughter is feeling better. Hope you guys have a great week. 😉

    • Ha! I know what you mean. My husband used to constantly chastise me because of my millions of open tabs, but he finally just got me a new computer that can handle it. LOL!
