Last week on FYFA (and in my life):
I managed to get some nice frames for the artwork I bought from Tabitha for my birthday (if you didn’t see the pictures, check them out here – I LOVE them!). Here’s one more picture that shows all my foxes together! (Since I didn’t show ones that Tabitha did for my blog before.)
Besides that, not too much is happening around here. I did start working on a couple of new editing projects. (As suspected, they all came in at the same time – luckily, my clients are willing to share my time! Still, it figures.)

yeah that would figure all the projects come in at the same time!! lol
Yep, isn’t that how life works?
I spy Fairest! I hope you enjoy it, Nicole.
I’m hoping I do too!
Those are such pretty artwork! Tabitha is so talented. Where has she been lately? I miss her blog. 🙁
Have a great week, Nicole!
She’s been focusing on her art, so she hasn’t been blogging much (only so many hours in the day, right?). If you follow her on Instagram, you’ll see what she’s been up to!
It’s nice that the authors are willing to divide the time up since you got bombarded. I love the foxes. They are so cute!
Yes, I gave them warning that it might happen that way, so they knew.
OOoh nice! Love those pictures! Tabita is amazing! I bought one of her Belle with books pictures! I actually had inquired about one a few months back and thought to ask her about it again recently. While I couldn’t really afford the original drawing I was more than happy to buy the copy version!! LOVED it!
I still need to read Visions in Silver! I was hoping to read that one soonish to read book 4, but not sure it’s going to be happening as soon as I would’ve liked! And then I just learned that Anne will be at my B&N again this year, Friday actually, so I don’t think I can get to it in time since I was trying to read review books this week. Sigh…always a book behind it seems! LOL! Last year I had only read book 1 and book 3 was just releasing! I’ll get caught up one of these days!
Hope you enjoy all the awesome new reads!
Here’s my STS
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower 🙂
I’m trying hard to finish Vision in Silver this week so that I can read the fourth book before its release – here’s hoping!
Nice art, Tabitha does good stuff! That would be fun to have your blog art framed. Great post this week on inspired by vs copycatting- I think you handled that really well. With so many blogs that kind of thing is bound to happen, but honest similarities are one thing as opposed to outright plagiarizing. Nice post!
The daydreamer dEtective looks like a lot of fun!
Yes – having the original watercolors for my blog header is such an amazing memento! Thanks for the kudos on that post – it was percolating in my mind that whole week, so I figured why not put it down on paper (well, on computer). 🙂
Pajonas is a fantastic author, so I’m really looking forward to Daydreamer Detective.
Love all the pictures in their frames!! Enjoy your new books and have a great week!
I love them too! Tabitha is so talented!
Oh I am curious to see what you think about Walk the Edge! I have heard either people love it or totally hate it!
I really loved the first one, so I hope I love this one too! You never know.
It goes the same way with my tours, weeks nothing and then all the new ones come at once, but that’s okay. The framed artwork looks great! Tabitha did great work on those!
I am currently reading The Daydreamer Detective and really enjoying it so far :). I have the first book in that Anne Bishop series, but haven’t read it yet, it sounds like a great series!
I hope you’ll have a great week!
Can’t wait to see your thoughts on Daydreamer! You know I’m a big fan of Pajonas – she’s one of the few authors who could get me to read a mystery. 🙂
Ooh pretty photos; glad you got some nice frames for them! I have one bookish print I keep in my room, and it looks so nice in a frame. 🙂 Good luck on your editing projects!
It is like some unwritten law that are deadline’s are due around the same time and no matter where you are on the waiting list, all of your books at the library come in and the same time..LOL Nice drawings, I hope you enjoy them.
Oh I just LOVE those framed prints!! They are so adorable! 🙂
Wow you have a lot going on! I really enjoyed Walk the Edge. I hope you do too!

Also, you should check out my Blogoversary Giveaway.
Yes, everything always comes all at once or not at all. It must be on of Murphy’s Laws or something. That artwork is so cute! And they look great in the frames 🙂 Have a great week, don’t get too stressed with all the sudden work! 😛
I’ve got a couple good giveaways on my blog right now. One for any book in the After series by Anna Todd, and another for either book in the Haunting of Sunshine Girl series by Anna Todd. You can click on the link below for my Sunday Post and I have links to the two giveaways in the post.
Of course you get all your editing projects at once. That’s how it always is. I spent the first half of the school year with not a ton of things to do other than when classes came into the library. Now we’re starting to get all our book shipments in and I’ve got to make space for them! Have a great week!
Yay for Fairest! I really love that book and I thought it was a great insight to the villains mind.
