The covers of “Black Moon” and “Wandering Star” are gorgeous! Also, I hope everything goes well with your new Japanese foreign exchange student! How fun.
I agree about those covers. So pretty!
Sounds busy! Hope the week ahead is a good one. Hanna Who Fell From The Sky and the Black Moon books both look pretty good.
Wandering Star was really good, so I’m eager to read Black Moon now!
Have fun with your exchange student! My friends had an exchange student from France, but he just hid in his room most of the time and didn’t talk much.
This exchange student spoke the least English out of any of the ones we’ve had, so it wasn’t quite as fun as some of our other experiences, but it’s still always great to expand our horizons. 🙂
Lots going on at your house! I hope your exchange student is settling in and feeling comfortable. I’ve heard good things about that series by Romina Russell. Hope you’ll enjoy!
Yes, it was a hectic summer, so I’m glad things are calming down now. 🙂
How cool, an exchange student! I’m sure ya’ll will enjoy getting to know him! And congrats on finishing your edits. Hope this week is just as accomplished for you! 🙂
It’s always fun to get to know someone from a different culture!
Definitely sounds like a busy week. I hope your kids are all enjoying their camps – and that’s great you have a Japanese exchange student staying. I hope all goes well.
They always love summer camp. I’m glad we’ve been able to have them go every year because it’s been a great experience for them.
You have been busy and more to come. Such lovely new reads too. Uh oh. I made the mistake of stopping at your pre-order section. LOL Look out book budget!
My Sunday Post
That pre-order section can be brutal (and awesome!).
I can’t wait to hear all about your foreign exchange student! Sounds exciting! If I ever got my house in order and could afford it, I’d take in an exchange student. Although as a single woman, I wonder if they allow that? Black Moon looks good! Have a great week!
This is the third time we’ve had an exchange student. We’ve always loved getting to know people from another culture!
I hope your daughter enjoyed her camp and your son has a blast at his. I lived for summer camp. The location was 95% of the greatness. I hope your exchange student is settling in well.
My kids have loved camp every summer—it’s something they always look forward to.
I have a giveaway that it would be fantastic if you included in your Sunday Post! It’s for one of three copies of Sovereign by April Daniels: https://utopia-state-of-mind.com/giveaway-sovereign-april-daniels/
So sorry that I fell behind on replying and missed this until it was too late. Hopefully people saw it here in the comments!
I can’t wait to see what you think of those two Romina Russel’s books! I just bought Zodiac and I’m looking forward to hear everyone’s thoughts about the final book in her series!
I really liked Wandering Star and I’m planning to head into Black Moon soon!
I am pretty excited to read Hanna Who Fell From the Sky too. Also, I hope everything is cool with your exchange student. Have a great week!
I’ve been trying to avoid picking up new review books, but I couldn’t resist that one. 🙂
