Sunday Post: Book Pre-order Campaigns & Giveaways Galore – 9/20/20

September 20, 2020 Sunday Post 24

Sunday Post header

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.

This past week on FYFA (and in my life):

I worked on my Sunday Post earlier this week, so I’m actually getting it up on Sunday. Imagine that! Here’s what I’ve been up to:

  • Hanging doors and trim. We decided to go ahead and replace the doors and trim upstairs since it was all mismatched. We basically used the same style of doors and trim as we have downstairs (without the fancy mission trim above the doors), only we did it in white since it’s so dark upstairs in the hallway. We also decided to paint the hallway a lighter shade of gray than we have downstairs, but we haven’t gotten that far yet. These projects will be keeping us busy for weeks to come, I’m sure!
  • Reading
    • I read my ARC of Alone by Megan E. Freeman, and it was just as good as I knew it would be!
    • I’m listening to Honor Among Thieves by Rachel Caine and Anne Aguirre.
    • I also started reading Maya and the Rising Dark by Rena Barron, and I’m loving it so far.
  • Writing and blogging. Believe it or not, I actually got a fair amount of writing done this past week! I only managed one post on the blog, but I did make a little headway on my five million un-replied comments and finally did a bit of blog surfing. I’m calling that a win.
  • Digit! Here are a couple of Digit pics. I love how proud he is in the second pic for beheading his unicorn. LOL!

You have done so many home improvements over the past few months. Impressive. You should have made a documentary – the quarantine makeovers. And, of course Digit is proud of his work.

We’ve been steadily working on projects around our house since the pandemic began. It was crazy, though, waiting for paint and brushes and other supplies to arrive, one by one, by delivery.

I hope you have a lovely week!

Luckily, we had already started our projects before the pandemic started, and we were able to do a pick-up order from Menards for things we still needed early on (and now we can actually go to the store when we need to). It has definitely been a bit more of a challenge to get everything you need during these times, though!
