Sunday Post header

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news ~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.

This past week on FYFA (and in my life):

  • Gardening. I got my bulbs for the front yard in the mail and spent yesterday planting them. I don’t have much of a green thumb, so I really hope they thrive.
  • What I Read:
    • I finished listening to Three Dark Crowns and then jumped right into One Dark Throne.
    • I finished reading Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas. Loved it (especially once I got into it – I made the mistake of putting it down to often at the beginning).
  • TV We Watched:
    • Supernatural. We’re still working our way through season 10.
    • The Circle. Of course we watched all the available episodes this week. Can’t wait to find out how the season ends!
    • Schitt’s Creek. I’m on season 4 of this show now!

Here’s what you may have missed on the blog since my last Sunday Post:

  1. I have faith in your thumbs and the bulbs. I bet they will all come up and look fabulous. Yeah for winning books! I liked This Is Not the Jess Show. I am eager to read that sequel. (it better happen)

  2. So long as your soil isn’t too claggy, the bulbs should thrive – though I have mixed results as the slugs tend to eat them if I don’t plant them in a hole filled with gravel. So it might not be anything to do with your lack of a green thumb if they don’t make it:)). Good luck!

I love the cover for Three Dark Crowns, but right now I’m not in the mood for anything too dark, but have marked the series for when Life gets a bit kinder. In the meantime, I hope you have a lovely week, Nicole:)).

  3. I love Supernatural too. Good luck with the bulbs. I do not have a green thumb either so I’ve never planted any. Have a great week ❤️

  4. I’m not a gardener either. Basically I can’t be outside plus since it’s usually hot here more often than not throughout the year, nothing can really grow. My mom usually likes to plant some flowers though, but that’s about it.

Nice new reads! Those are new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them! Congrats on the win too!

    Here’s my StS

    Have a GREAT day!

    Old Follower 🙂

  5. Oh my gosh I need to read the last Three Dark Crowns book. We have it but I just haven’t read it yet. I LOVE that series so need to get to it stat!

Hope you have a good week. 🙂

  6. I’ll be interested to see what you think of This is Not the Jess Show, because I’ve wanted to read that one. I keep coming up with ideas of flowers I’d like to do in my yard, but I actually am not a gardener at all, so that will never happen. I’m just lucky there are already some plants that the people before me put in, or I’d never have any. lol. Have a great week!

  7. I hope your bulbs do well, Nicole! I don’t have much of a green thumb either, I’m afraid. I am glad you ended up really liking Cemetery Boys. I hope to read that one someday. I hope you have a great week and month of May!
