The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news ~ A post to recap the past week on my blog and share news about what’s coming up in the week ahead.
This past week on FYFA (and in my life):
- Jade’s spring break. Jade has been home this week for spring break, and I’ve spent a lot of time helping her figure out classes for next year (since she’s switching things up a bit and dropping her data science masters – after taking some data science classes she’s realized it’s … not her favorite). And helping her search for internships. Hard to believe that next year is her last year of college!!
- Concerts and track meets. I got to see Danielle’s school a capella group perform for the first time on Friday night, and they were fantastic! I can’t wait to see even more. And I’ve also been going to her track meets, as well.
- What I Read
- The only reading I did this week was the adorable picture book I won called El Cucuy Is Scared Too. (You can see a pic of it in my Book Haul section.)
- What I Watched:
- Hulu released a new season of Married at First Sight, the best/worst trash TV there is!
Here’s what you may have missed on the blog since my last Sunday Post:

Wow, can’t believe Jade is almost done with college! Where does the time go? My spring break isn’t for one more week, but I’m so ready now! If I can only make it through the next week alone again in my library, without getting so sick and tired that I can’t enjoy my own spring break. Have a good week!
My daughter’s spring break was this past week but she lives with me anyway. We were just stayed home. My daughter has some choices to figure out her path soon as she has all her general education courses finished.
Anne – Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
I remember you daughter did college level classes in high school, but it’s amazing how quickly college is flying by. Good luck working out the major. The whole concept of Married at First Sight is sort of unreal to me. I wonder how many of those relationships work out.
Glad you got to spend time with Jade over spring break. Awesome that she’ll graduate next year. Natalie @ Literary Rambles
One more year?! That went by so fast! And wishing Danielle all the luck at her track meets! I’ve been watching older movies on Netflix, I haven’t heard of Married at First Sight but it sounds like it could be addicting lol!
Almost done with College… That’s such an exciting and scary time in one’s life!
I wish Netflix had more shows like that since iI don’t have Hulu. But we now have HBO Max so I’ll have to see what they have.
