My Goings-On in September:
Here are the things that stand out to me this month:
- Working at Barnes & Noble! I’ve been working four days a week, and that’s been an adjustment. I’ve had a lot less time for blogging and blog-hopping. I absolutely love the job, though!
- Marathon training. I run the marathon on Sunday!! (Of course, I woke up yesterday with a cold. Ugh!)
- Writing things that I still can’t talk about. I know, I know, I keep saying that. I promise eventually I’ll be able to tell you everything. Eventually.

My 2022 Reading Progress:
I read 11 books in September, bringing my total for the year to 101. I actually wasn’t really paying attention and was surprised to see that meant I’d hit my Goodreads goal for the year! I’ve also read 22 picture books and 6 manuscripts for fellow authors! (I don’t include either in my main Goodreads count.)

September Best of the Bunch:

I only posted four reviews this month. Yikes! But I guess that makes it easier to make a choice for my favorite, right? So, this month I chose Charlie Hernández & the Golden Dooms. I’ve actually really enjoyed this entire series so far!
2022 Goals Progress:
The Discussion Challenge is my one and only goal for 2022. (And I lowered it this year.)

Congratulations on hitting your GR goal, and glad to hear you are enjoying the job. Good luck with the marathon. I admire your dedication
Congrats on meeting your Goodreads goal. I set mine at what I think is reasonable and somehow I always have more. But I’d rather read a lot and feel successful than stress out with too high a goal. It’s great you are enjoying your new job.
Congrats on hitting your Goodreads goal! I only have a few more books to hit mine, as well. Happy to hear you’re enjoying the new job, and good luck with your marathon (and writing)!
Working at Barnes and Noble sounds like a fabulous job! Glad you are loving it, but I am sure it cuts into read, blogging and writing time. Considering that, you really accomplished a lot in September. I love the sound of Dressing Up the Stars. Have a great October!
Congratulations on making your GR goal!! Well done! I will be thinking of you this weekend running your marathon! Good luck with that.
Congrats on the job and the GR goal!! Happy spooky season!
Your posts do make me miss working at the bookstore! Good luck on the marathon this weekend!

Congrats on hitting your Goodreads goal, and I’m glad you’re enjoying the job. Jobs suck a lot less when you’re having fun. Happy October!
That’s great that are you loving the job at B&N! It might get in the way of blogging, but it’s a plus that it’s book related still and you’re enjoying it. 🙂

Working at any bookstore would be great – but I sure understand the working vs reading/blogging balance. It’s a struggle sometimes. Thanks for the visit…

Congratulations for the job at Barnes & Noble! What a wonderful way to spend your day around books, I’m so happy for you ♥.
I really need to pick up the Charlie Hernandez series. It looks like such fun! Hope you have a wonderful October!
